Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

this dates me but LA was a genuinely fun city in the 80s. all the old hits like hong kong cafe were still around. people would cruise down sunset blvd well into the 90s and you could live in a warehouse closet for like $20 a month if you needed to.

younger generations have no idea what they were missing, america was genuinely a fun place 40 years ago and LA was fun central. a shame that its burning down now but they really should have reconsidered building mansions in narrow valleys surrounded by forest.
What's a warehouse closet? Like, a literal closet?

Wildfire meeting electric vehicle fire is something that should be considered as well should the flames reach the highways.

Oh you're right, I hadn't even thought of all the Teslas that are going to go into popcorn mode
Don't forget Tesla power packs, power walls, and all those solar panels. I can smell the burning plastic from over a thousand miles away.
