Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

Oh shit I just realized Warner Bros. Studio is there, and there's someone who's willing to burn it all down to get back at someone.

The real question is how fast will celebrities use this incident as a way to get back in the spotlight. "Boohoo, my mega mansion might burn down" as if they are the only people who might lose property in this. I wonder when the grifting will begin as they organize fundraisers but and expect people to donate money for them to make them look good.

L.A. bros stay safe out there, don't led the pedophile celebrities push you around in this and make the people who caused this pay.

Sometimes I miss SoCal; the weather, the food options, the car scene, being able to do any sort of hobby within 2 hours of you

I got good news for you.
The food scene was declining and then fell off a cliff after covid. All the old good restaurants are more expensive and worse, or closed. The new restaurants are fusion trash started by the talentless children of the generation that ran good restaurants. They pay tiktokers and Instagram whores to trick people into paying absurd prices for shitty food.

Car scene is dead. Laws get worse and worse. You can't even tune cars now. Tracks are closing and the only scene growing is street takeovers. I live in Las Vegas now and I see nice imported JDM cars on the street all the time.

All hobby destinations are within a 30 minute drive from where I live.

I had this happen in my neighborhood once, shit was legit terrifying even without the risk of a fire. The cable eventually snapped loose and landed in a wet yard (inches of rain that day and still pouring, hence no risk of fire), started sparking so violently that it began to whip itself around like an overpressured garden hose flinging massive sparks everywhere until it finally cooked off the fuse on the line

(Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2023 Broadway Cast Recording))

City on fire!
Rats in the grass
And the lunatics yelling in the streets!
It's the end of the world! Yes!
City on fire!
Hunchbacks dancing!
Stirrings in the ground
And the whirring of giant wings!
Watch out!
Look!
Blotting out the moonlight
Thick black rain falling on the
City on fire!
City on fire!
City on fire!

The beautiful irony here is that just doing controlled burns over a stretch of time would have been easier to deal with from a climate retard perspective than this shit. One of the reasons they've argued against controlled burns was the CO2 release from them, but that's a small amount of CO2 at once which could be spaced out from other controlled burns to allow it to dissipate more. All their muh climate bullshit, eat the bugs, recyclable straws etc and in this one fire they've undone every bit of their carbon footprint reduction.
