Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

So something like this happened in the late 80s of Montana. The fire raged so bad that bones were charred from livestock, even seeds that thrived in fires were burnt, there's entire sections of montana that look cursed because there is absolutely no growth from how bad it got.
The reason for this is they didn't do controlled burns, hollywood elites had summerhomes in the mountains and didn't have dedicated gardeners to keep it clean. 5 years of leaf litter build up can easily get to 5 feet tall, 10 in some areas, so it produced so much fuel that made the fire so hot it was a raging infirno for almost 3 solid years.

California has imported basically napalm trees that thrive on fires, on top of being a more desert-type environment. They haven't done controlled burns.
This may unironically be too much to stop if it's just STARTING in LA and they can't do anything about it.
That reminds me of the CA rich retard who lost a building in MT on a mountain and sued the feds for negligence and got laughed out of court.
How many hours has the entire LAFD been working without rest at this point? It's also important to remember that normal car accidents and house fires are still happening in the city too. 3 days is the absolute maximum you can push anyone before they need to be given rest. They are going to run up to that hard wall tomorrow. Hopefully the city was quick on the draw and calling in out of city/state support.
1 hour of fire suppression = 3-8 hours of strenuous exercise. Oh by the way LAFD probably doesn't specialize in wildland. Wildland just needs more bodies (which LAFD doesn't have lmao). Plus the skills are slightly different, when I responded to fires with city firefighters they couldn't draft out of a natural water source to save their asses.
If they didn't call in calfire, the national guard, and the feds within hours of the inital fire they're fucked.
-Be surprised that people cheer on as LA burns to the ground.
Now, if this could only happen to Denver to free the rest of the state from their sheer stupidity.

I dont recall such behavior being leveled at people who die in hurricanes, earthquakes, floods or any other event.
That's not true, I regularly laugh at people who choose to live in areas that get hit by regular floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, nigger riots and any other form of nature's autism. Most I have to worry about where I live is heat stroke but I'm already retarded so it doesn't effect me when my brain starts boiling in my skull from the ungodly summer heat.

She was almost raped by a junkie outside of her house, and her leftist buddies got furious at her for talking about it because it "stigmatizes the unhoused and oppressed." Junkie might have been brown, too, which would have added "it's racist to tell them no, just lay back and think of all the diversity he'd be bringing to your womb." No, literally, they were mad at her for talking about being a sexual assault victim because it might have inconvenienced the rapist or the theoretical rapists that existed in her friend's minds.

It shattered the conditioning and she's slowly breaking out of the epistemic closure she's been in for decades.

Here's a question for any insurance goons ITT; I have my own homeowners insurance with a provider that also does business in California. They're one of the biggest providers in the nation but is there any risk of them going bankrupt after this and rendering my own homeowners insurance void? There are fires here too every now and then but we're not incompetent like Cali is.
Probably not - they have their own insurance for stuff like this. If that well runs dry, multiple governments (ours, UK, etc.) will bail them out to prevent the whole system from collapsing

Insurers have insurers of their own, so the extent to which you'll be affected is contingent on the final bill that is going to be allocated to society. If it's too much for the insurer to handle, some of it will be taken by those reinsurers according to their contract. If it's a true clusterfuck who knows who'll have to foot the bill, or if the State will have the political will to bail them out.

Cutting the Firefighter budget is bizarre to me, I can not believe that LA cut the budget for ANY public service, especially one so important. I would have expected they would just tax people more. LAFD must have had too little of "Administration costs" to justify their budget.
You underestimate shitlibs' contempt for people who do real work.
