Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

actually, the inverted cross was used as a symbol by catholics well before it was used as a symbol for satanists and other heathens.
it's obvious this isn't the wrath of god anyway. it's fire from the grass, that smell is just from the ambient air of LA, not brimstone.
Far too few people died for this to be the big G going full old testament. A bunch of people lost property in a pretty spectacular fashion in what amounts to continued mismanagement and retardation.

Could be a st. Peter's crucifix pendant. I haven't seen it worn before, the little silver medal pendants are more common afaik. People probably don't wear them much because of how the symbol was taken by satanic cults somewhat recently. Now, you see that symbolism more often with the Vatican, since Peter is quite literally their cornerstone. But, I'm more inclined to think it's a St. Brigid’s Cross.

My reasoning being that it looks like the arms of the cross are offset. Then the pendant may look like an inverted because those crosses are square, and there will be a bit of extra metal so that it joins with the chain.

Alot of people in here saying Christians are hypocritical for hating LA
18 2 The horrible destruction of Babylon set out.  11, 16, 18 The merchants of the earth, who were enriched with the pomp and luxuriousness of it, weep and wail:  20 but all the elect rejoice for that just vengeance of God.

1 [a]And after these things, I saw another [b]Angel come down from heaven, having great power, so that the earth was lightened with his glory,

2 And he cried out mightily with a loud voice, [c]saying, It is fallen, it is fallen, Babylon that great city, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of all foul spirits, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

3 For all nations have drunken of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich of the abundance of her pleasures.

4 [d]And I heard another voice from heaven say, [e]Go out of her, my people, that ye be not [f]partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues:

5 For her sins are [g]come up into heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

6 [h]Reward her, even as she hath rewarded you, and give her double according to her works: and in the cup that she hath filled to you, fill her the double.

7 Inasmuch as she glorified herself, and lived in pleasure, so much give ye to her torment and sorrow: for she saith [i]in her heart, I sit being a queen, and am [j]no widow, and shall [k]see no mourning.

8 Therefore shall her plagues come at [l]one day, death, and sorrow, and famine, and she shall be burnt with fire: for that God which condemneth her, is a strong Lord,
So if LA actually is this unknown city/civilization, God condones everyone hating on it lol

Although tbh, I seriously doubt that LA specifically is The Babylon/Whore of Babylon or that Babylon would be a singular city.

>Get hyped to see all the cool natural disaster footage, news update, and maybe.. JUST maybe see the notorious HOLLYWOOD sign burst into flames.

>It's just 100 pages of moralizing faggots trying to tell other moralizing faggots what they should think.

Very nice opinions guys.. Really... They're all just.. Great..

The major reservoirs run by the state department of water are full, so I am not sure why LADWP isn't keeping their water system completely topped off: https://cdec.water.ca.gov/resapp/RescondMain

Incidentally, these are pretty small lakes for a city the size of LA.
Those numbers might not be accurate. But the biggest barrier to moving water is gravity, and there’s a huge mountain range separating Los Angeles from the counties up north.

If you live in LA, you were trying to be a celebrity. That’s the only reason people have moved there for like eighty years. It’s been a smog infused, riot prone shithole for longer than most of us have been alive. After the waves of shit trying to be movie stars slowed, people started moving there to be YouTubers or tiktokers.
We get it. You hate LA. But consider that LA is more than Hollywood. Many people came to Los Angeles because of Howard Hughes and the city would not be what it is without him. Los Angeles also has a major port. All your shit from Asia comes through here.

That was my first thought, tbh.

Cali-kiwis, is there any reason why the Eaton fire would be underreported other than "no one cares cuz lol poor"?

My hope in all of this is that the financial toll on the elites will undercut the stranglehold the inept government grifters have on the state. Like someone said upthread, if the rich don't have the money to throw at the politicians, then they loose their grip on power. They would probably lose their interest in being a politician, too. Politics and media have become a grifter paradise.
Part of it is that the Palisades fire came first and is bigger. But it’s troubling because the Eaton is actually more threatening so far.

I and others have been posting info without engaging in the slapfights if those posts aren't making it into the highlights it's probably because inflammatory shitposting gets more engagement (true everywhere)
Indeed, folks. Pigfighting here is counterproductive. The facts of the matter are horrible and getting worse by the minute. We don't know when the fires will even be contained, much less put out. Losses already well into the billions. Been lucky to have had so relatively few human casualties.

And like many others here I also question whether Newsom, Bass, the politicians and the environmentalists will learn anything from this catastrophe. Sadly, don't believe they will learn anything, not a single thing. They are all blinded by politics and power, and are utterly indifferent to human and community suffering. Have lived in CA long enough to know this.

This is the pisser though -

  • December 26–January 17, 2023

An atmospheric river dumped an estimated 30 trillion gallons of water over California. The average precipitation was 11.47 inches across the state, with some areas receiving 40–90% of their annual rainfall.

  • Winter 2023
California received more than 78 trillion gallons of water from a dozen atmospheric rivers. The state experienced widespread rain and hundreds of inches of snow in the Sierra Nevada.

I just caught up on the highlights and every single one is either devil-worshipping californians e-begging for sympathy or jew-worshipping christians moralfagging and not a single new picture, video, press release, update on the actual fire itself.

Everyone here should be really ashamed of themselves.
jew-worshipping christian moralfag with some updates

accounts from three neighbors in a mostly white area (one asian)

The San Gabriel Mountians are in danger from the fires. This is where The Hooker Telescope is. That is where Edwin Hubble of Hubble Space Telescope fame discovered Redshift. This would be a massive loss to humanity.

Conspiracy theory time - they’re letting it burn because there was no way to fix the homeless/drug/gang problem in a Woke way before the 2028 Olympics.
Wouldnt they just burn all the slums and ghettos then? Its not like anything will be done about if they outright burn them. Just a lot of fake outrage and a lot of "at least it wasnt me" and then onto the next outrage and so on.

I know people are not talking yet about casualty numbers, but is there any way this hasn’t killed a whole bunch of homeless people/ drug addicts? I haven’t seen anything like buses rounding them up to evacuate, they would need something organized and that seems to be a critically missing skill for the people farming the homeless for government cash.

I would expect them to popping up on those day-after videos of the devastation, but there’s no people on the streets.

Maybe I missed it but it seems like a dog that isn’t barking.
