Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Wait, what? Can I read something somewhere about it?
It’s a big, long term issue. When I was out there ten years ago, farmers were constantly freaking out because there wasn’t enough water for them to even BUY, and the reason they were given was because they needed to maintain a minimum level for a pumping station to pump water over the San Gabriel mountains into LA.

So it was a contentious thing, that farmers were going out of business and nobody north of the San Gabriel mountains was allowed to water their lawn or wash their car. It was literally illegal. I was smoking a cigarette outside and got my ass chewed out by a cop for the fire hazard even though I was in an asphalt parking lot in Sacramento.

Northern California was near to fucking rebellion because our water was being stolen so people in LA could have infinity pools overlooking the ocean, and peoples’ livestock were dying

So, the idea of taking that water and dumping it in the ocean, and then LA burning is peak schadenfreude. Burn, you useless fucks

How many in captivity do we have so we can at least maintain their genetics. Though the main species on this Earth I wish to ensure never go extint are Penguins and Axolotels
True penguins are already extinct. :(
Compounding things is nobody wanting to be the first to rebuild on a street until they're pretty certain what everyone else is going to do. We saw that everywhere in the months after Katrina. Nobody wanted to rush to be the only new house in a neighborhood full of derelict ruin.
I suspect LA is going to become more of a cess pit than it was before. Not unlike how its shown in futurama if given enough time.

Am I a bad person for hoping that this fire will bring down the housing market in LA county?
No, you're just retarded. Does a decrease in supply typically decrease prices?
Oyy vey, stop fedposting goy. how dare you actually want things to change and justice to happen.

Actually I am better. I don't give a fuck which corrupt puppet they vote for. I want it all gone cause it will rid them of satan worshipping pedophiles, niggers, spics, homless crack addicts, troons, and weak soyfilled cucks, who will find somewhere else to be. And all that will be left will be stronger people of character , who actually do hard work and keep the place barely running currently, who actually care about california and would actually build the place back better than it was. If you actually want good change, you need to grab a gas can and stop bitching.
You are a submoron.

LA pedo jews will be made whole by insurance, they will build new, bigger homes. Cucked conservatives like James Woods will buy out whole neighbourhoods somewhere in Texas that decent white people used to live and build mansions with their (promptly delivered) insurance money. Everyone else, particularly working class whites and small business owners will be systemically screwed. Because that's Ammmurica.

I don't even think I have the energy to feel that way. All I know is, friends and acquaintances who had to volunteer in the mountains had to toss all their clothes because of mold, sludge, and the smell of decomp. The Lord will take care of things. That's stereotypically Southern of me, but it's all I can muster.
To be fair I was just paraphrasing an old Null speech.

We're not all West Coast Elite stereotypes. An awful lot of us are folks whose families have lived here for generations and love the rugged beauty and yeah, even the people. I dunno. I'm proud of our response, and am off to find some different way I can help.
You're helping dogs you fucking queer, nevermind the homeless have been ignored for years, but awww we helped some pupperinos we are so hecking wholesome!

Well said. I have animals, 5 at the moment but I was always horrified that most people offer food to stray cats and dogs they find on the street and feel cute and virtuous about it while turning away from hungry homeless adults or children. People will literally walk away from another human asking for food and throw their half eaten hotdogs to animals.
Live in California for a while, and you'll immediately see why people in that state have absolutely no respect for the usual homeless variety.

Few would mind a tame stray following them home. The same cannot be said for the homeless following one home.

I had no idea about any of this, this is fucking hilarious. Didn't they have record breaking rains not too long ago?

I don’t know what kind of red herring left you talking about the Klamath River, but what’s at issue is south west of Sacramento, and Sacramento’s watershed is fed by rivers coming out of Tahoe, if you’ve ever heard of this thing called the American River’s south fork, which fills the Folsom reservoir
Tahoe is on the other side of the Sierra from Sacramento.

The headwaters of the South Fork of the American River are near Tahoe, but not from Tahoe.

I will argue about watersheds all damn day, then I will take drugs so I can do it all night.
