Greece's gift to Europe was its mastery of the sciences

Rome's gift to Europe was its langauge, a influence so profound that up until 1918 it and its descendants were used by the nations of the globe to communicate, and further still even after supposedly being dethroned still makes up a massive portion of the vocabulary of all European languages.

Charlemagne's gift to Europe was unity at a time when its very existence was threatened by Mohammedans to the South and Pagans to the East.

Iberia's gift to Europe was unlocking the unimaginable wealth from beyond the Atlantic, bringing about the greatest golden age in history

Russia's gift to Europe will be helping the continent free itself from the pozzed grasp of the Americans, whose gift to Europe will be cum stained fursuits displayed in museums as a warning against Slaneesh worship
Beautifully stated. Just to add to this... Rome was also the West's progenitor for the effective building and maintenance of infrastructure. Aqueducts and paved highways made thousands of years ago are still more advanced than anything created in Africa.

Furthermore, each of these beautiful civilizations did their part in fighting off the filthy Middle Eastern and Asian hordes. Charlemagne, Charles Martel, and Clovis each did their part in forcibly converting Muslims into Christians with their hammers. The Romans kept the Sassanids at Bay. The Greeks spat in the face of the Persians. The Spaniards expelled the filthy Saracens and their Jewish sugar daddies. And now the Russians are fighting against the evils of Western Faggotry.

but the retarded Ukes took it, got into a war over it, and now are fighting to the last hohol over it
But is it truly their decision? Z-man got into power under questionable pretenses, the whole country is under foreign control. Sure, there are dumb terrorist types that are probably doing it willingly, but most of the population is just going with the flow.

While I absolutely am not going to condemn the innocent bystanders in Ukraine for not joining their brothers in the Donbass in active rebellion/actively helping the partisan movement as it would be little different to when Nafo retards whine about how every Russian is guilty as a precursor to their fantasies of genocide I wouldn't say that they are beyond helpless.

Yes, the Banderites can terrorize those brave enough to stand up, yes the country is a open air concentration camp for fighting age men, and yes modern surveillance tech combined with foreign glowies would make any organized efforts impossible there still would be ways to fight back, even if not in a direct way. This wouldn't win the war overnight, the pro western factions and their puppets are still powerful, but it would shave off months of the war.

Low level bureaucrats can use the nation's corruption to ensure even more military hardware gets "lost", those with chemistry knowledge might help those willing to get their hands dirty and sabotage railway lines, some of the previously lost weapons might be given over to IRA style militias who will *fedpost* pressgangs and some particularly radical individuals might even be able to do things like practice modern London social customs on pro Maidan politicians like the woman who was shot last year (ironically by a Azovite) up until facilitating the war is more dangerous for them than those threatening them to press on.

Of course, lets be real, none of that will happen. After decades of propaganda and 10 years of the current regime the majority of the population likely is divided between those who are still fervently anti Russian and those who pretend to be but will just go along with whatever they are told to do, as such only a small portion secretly awaits liberation. The good news is that with Ukraine being a artificial state those that don't run away to the west will shift gears, just like how all talk of the partisan movement in the Russian controlled parts along the coast fizzled out in 2022. After decades of development in Russia the concept of Ukrainian statehood in places like Kharkov or Chernigov will be as fringe as Newfoundland independence is today in Canada.

TLDR: Ukie civilians are *technically* able to do something to speed up the collapse but won't because human psychology makes most suck up to the dominant power up until it becomes dangerous/less advantageous to do so. I'm not condemning or justifying their actions, its simply human instinct, which tragically will lead to even more lives being lost.

Expect a lot of talking points from former Ukrainian nationalists in the future to read like Germans confronted with their Nazi party membership. "I only said that stuff to protect myself, I never believed it", "I joined the mob to protect myself" "I always hated the regime but never could say it out loud" "They made me do X I swear"

I wouldn't go that far - If you're goaded into doing retarded shit by someone, you're still a retard for doing it. The US is responsible for providing the incentive and means, but the retarded Ukes took it, got into a war over it, and now are fighting to the last hohol over it. Coulda surrendered in the first few days and been done with it, and "Their handlers wouldn't let him" hardly counts when those handlers were expecting it to all collapse in a few days.
It's like an retard getting tard strength after snorting a few lines, aka billions in materiel and funding.

Makes me wonder what the preference cascade in Ukraine is going to be like- and if it emerges before or after the war ends.

Not sure what sort of leverage the US has left- it can still try to appeal to Russia's Europhillic elites and dangle the promises of lifting sanctions + no NATO. Trump can also try to do a show of strength, but I'm not sure how much leeway he has compared to Iran and Syria.

Trump has now reportedly said he “hopes” to end the Ukraine war in six months. No longer “I will stop the war in 24 hours” but now “I hope to stop it in six months”—quite the downgrade, to say the least, and a big reality check to boot.

In fact, Trump himself appears to now be slowly acclimatizing to the reality that Russia is in the driver’s seat and has no reason to parley with him any time soon.

As it stands, Russia has the escalation advantage in Ukraine at the moment, while US attempts to escalate a shadow war will have little effect on Russian goals- the greater long-term Russian risk stands from a weak settlement with the US than pursuing total enemy defeat- my opinion still stands that without fully reclaiming Novorossiya/the Black Sea littoral and splitting off Galicia, Ukraine will continue to be a geopolitical sword of Damocles into the future.

Personally I think that if Trump or someone more sensible was in power during the 90s, Russia would have ended up in NATO and the EU as a junior partner in the pecking order, rather than our current timeline where the descendants of jilted emigres have pursued the maximalist approach of attempted regime change and balkanization. I guess to them, revenge > 50% of corporate profits + rainbows in Moscow.

Hard disagree.

Let's start with 2008, Bush Jr. against all other NATO members objection, offers membership plans into NATO to UA.

Fast forward to 2014 "Revolution of Dignity" as wikipedia calls it, aka the maidan coup facilitated by the US. I'd refer back to Vicky Nuland's "Fuck the EU" phone call where they discuss the new UA government. Poroshenko and the ATO, having their asses handed to them, minsk agreements that were supposed to rearm UA and prep an invasion to retake crimea & donbass.

Totally not CIA plant Zelinski ran on the "I'll reconcile the UA with russia" platform. Which he 180°-d and went in full retard, falling in line with US interests and "ideologically motivated" units like right sektor & azov.

We can see, that the average borschtnigger did not want this war et all, voted against it at every chance, but subsequent "democratic" governments still managed to provoke it.

2022 Istambul peace talks, where RU and UA was mostly ready to settle the conflict was scuttled by BoJo either because of eternal anglo faggotry or on behalf of the US.

This whole op was planned by the US way before the first trump admin to corner russia and put anti-ballistic missiles on the border, upsetting MAD and subsequently enabling the USA to subjugate russia.
The ukrainian people (not the government, which I refuse to call ukrainian) are either do not want this war or was brainwashed / intimidated into complying by SBU/Azov types.

+Hungary protected west europe from the ottoman empire and tatars for half a millenia.

Edit:
there still would be ways to fight back, even if not in a direct way

IE by going AWOL/surrendering to the russians / fleeing conscription. Which they do.
Also there are a bunch of "conspirators" in RU friendly cities who spy for the russians.

i am developing this idea that the Ukro leadeship holds a metric shitton of blackmail material on the Dem (and not only) elites holed up in their various US govt agencies, who have used for the last decade Ukraine as their goto spot for money laundering and underage hookers, and that would explain the continuous flow of western politicians and officials going to Kiev in completely unneccessary trips.

Else how to explain absurdities like Blinken et al still extruding their nonsense long after having been fired by the US voters.

Nothing came out of Podesta's emails or Biden's laptop regarding underage prostitution, I think they could care less about blackmail.

Why would you need to be a chemist to do that? All you need to make a train derailer is access to a welding torch and some scrap metal.
That works too, but when I made my post I was thinking of the more traditional method rebel groups historically have gone with for sabotaging railroads...

That's certainly possible, but I think the truth is more prosaic. I don't think the Ukrainians need to blackmail people over whom they have total intellectual hegemony.

I'd imagine that any blackmail attempt goes something like this:
"Give us 10 HIMARS launchers or we'll..."
"Of course, you can have as many as you want for as long as you want. Slava Ukrainia! Have I mentioned how much I love Bandera? You know, Oscar Dirlewanger was a pretty cool guy."
