Something something diminishing returns etc. For me I won't be interested in buying a Switch 2 until Splatoon 4 or whatever RPG Monolith Soft is working on comes out and both of those are probably 2-4 years out.

I'm almost sure that Metroid Prime 4 will be a launch title, which means that unless it's dogshit I'll get it within the first 2 weeks (fuck preorders and blind buys, always verify). Unless it's not then it's a no-buy for me. I do wonder how they'll handle backwards compatibility, will it just run like on the original or will it runs with better framerates/higher resolution. Will all games just work or will there be a list.

I really think it’ll be MP4 + either a new 3D Mario or Mario Kart, with the other launching by the end of this year. They’ve waited long enough to release this that they should really come out swinging with a launch lineup that appeals to everyone, and if they don’t, then shame on them.

They've certainly been working on shit long enough to have a good few solid launch titles. Prime 4 Beyond will most likely be cross-platform, too.
