Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

The Fox stream has shown that mandatory evacuation orders for the Palisades fire are now up to the 405 north of Sunset Blvd. They need to get that shit under control and contained in a hurry because if it keeps burning eastward it will hit Bel-Air, the UCLA campus, and Getty art museum. People in Mandeville Canyon and along Canyonback road were reported as packing shit into U-hauls and leaving. "We've gotten a lot of alerts recently, some erroneously sent, but this is one that was sent and is not erroneous."

Jesus lol a morbid thought but im curious how many people will die from this disaster. I was alive to see 9/11 and this fire is easily one the most crazy things I've witnessed

Not much has been spared….

Those are old
Nothing happening on that front at all
I have to wonder where exactly this camera is stationed? It says Venice Beach, Santa Monica, and Marina Del Ray, but it can't be the right direction for Santa Monica because Santa Monica, when facing the Palisades fire, looks like this right now. Maybe it's fixated on some other location atm?

If you click on the arrow on the map it shows you where the camera is pointing:

oh yeah, those areas haven't had electricity for days, and they are all rich tesla guys.:story:
And California has been working to get rid of small portable backup generators, leaving people with uncharged Teslas in unpowered areas extra-fucked.

I can't find the link now (this thread moves so fast), but I think it was either yesterday or Wednesday, the operational briefing said their goal was to keep the fire from going south of I-10, or East of I-405. Interstates, being wide and made of usually-non-flammable concrete seems like good places to make a stand, but that's still plenty more neighborhoods destroyed, and with the size of the fire and the amount of embers it's throwing off, I'm not as confident as I would be in an Interstate serving as a fire break for very long.

It wont cause there is no fire there NIGGER. All the fire is up in the mountains, and the city area has been extinguished for over a day now

From the shit Ive seen today my nigga stuff is still burning there. That part was literally only a few hours ago. Altadena is mostly burnt out but there's a ton of stuff burning small pockets. Theres a bunch of gas leaks burning like its 1990s Kuwait that would make Saddam happy. The wind is going East right now. Trying to look at that area but half the fire cams in LA are torched
