That video of him spastically dancing just goes to prove that you could tell something is extremely wrong with Russell from as far as five hundred feet away. Even if you cover his whole giant head, his body language is so off.
If I didn't know who Russell was, you could tell me that that was a clip from a found-footage horror movie and I'd believe you. He makes Pennywise the Dancing Clown look like a ballerina.
I think it’s because he looks like he really thinks he’s Mr Sexy, the coolest guy in the room, and that all women present will be ecstatic with lust after seeing this. He really fancies himself as a Casanova.
That and the way he moves being ever so slightly wrong. It’s too much, as if his muscles don’t quite work right and there’s a minute delay in moving, then made up for by overcompensating and contracting jerkily. Added to his strange body proportions, huge head, clothes that are way too big, and filthy, greasy hair, and it just makes the whole video nauseating.
You can tell he’s disabled just by how he moves, cos no-one normal moves that way (or would do such a stupid dance). The poor captive audience probably wants to look away (or even laugh), but politeness and social conditioning means they have to watch and act encouragingly.
It’s that politeness that Russ has weaponised. He knows people will give him way more rope than a non-disabled person. He gets way more second chances than any normal person would. People will have to get over their unwillingness to seem like they’re being cruel to someone who can’t help themselves, by doing things like sacking Russ, or telling him to stop messaging them.
And Russ knows this and plays on it. It’s amazing that he’s gone through so many room rentals, jobs, friendships and one-sided “relationships”, as well as his ridiculous wooing dreams. He’s been given
so much more grace than anyone else would’ve gotten. Yet here he is, with no home, a shaky job, no friends, no life partner, and a family who try not to interact with him. To destroy so much goodwill, you really have to be a wrong ‘un, and Russ absolutely is.
If there’s one thing people really dislike, it’s having their goodwill taken advantage of. It’s not just that Russ is an asshole, it’s that he demands even more goodwill because of his frozen face, then plays the discrimination card if he’s even remotely pulled up for his shit behaviour. That’s guaranteed to make people hate him, and the dumbfuck either hasn’t learnt yet, or doesn’t care.
Just look at the simpering “please let me take you out on a date just as friends” video. The exact same playbook he used over and over again with women ever since. Pay her massive compliments (remember, he thinks ‘flattery’ is a positive thing), joke about how he’s disabled but trying hard, beg for a meeting “as friends” when that’s a blatant lie. The compliments come across as obvious lies, the disability joking is obvious emotional blackmail, as is the “date just as friends” when it’s so obvious that he wants more. It’s classic abuser behaviour, where every contact she has with him is just more he can guilt her with - ‘well, you agreed to a date as friends, why won’t you agree to another/a relationship/sex?’ Which will obviously be followed by the classic emotional blackmail of tears, rage, suicide baiting and an added “you just hate the disabled”.

you. And for good reason - you take advantage of their goodwill to deliberately manipulate them, then have a hulking rage attack when someone tells you no.
What a thoroughly dislikable goblin of a man. Interesting to see yet another receipt of his obsessive and controlling attitudes towards women, and from so far back in time too. I do hope whoever she is is living her best life now, and Russ’s obsessional slobbering is a distant memory long forgotten. Poor kid, wouldn’t wish him on anyone (well, maybe some of the trannies on here. Or Hollie Dance).
