If you think Youtube isn't a real job, you're a boomer retard nigger

It's been a long held opinion on KiwiFarms and the broader Internet in general that being a Youtuber is not a real job, and anyone struggling at e-fame should go get a real job. If you have this opinion, you're a fucking out of touch NIMBY retard boomer.

This should be obvious but in this job market, you have to compete with outsourcing, illegal immigrants, H1B Visas and now AI is muscling its way in on the remaining white collar jobs in America, following that it'll start taking blue collar jobs next, with the top target being truck drivers. These CEOs of publicly traded companies have only one objective in mind, and that's to reduce cost and increase productivity, and they'll cut any corner to make that happen, that includes you, nigger.

These people don't give a shit how much time you've put into their company, they don't give a shit you have nowhere else to go, they don't give a shit how much you've contributed over the years, they don't care how much money that they've made off of your back, and they don't care that this job is all you know. Their attitude is "K, thanks, bye," if even that much.

Look at all the fresh college graduates who went for a real education in STEM instead of retard liberal arts and woke ideology shit only to find no one is replying to their hundreds of job applications in a field they're qualified for. Nobody wants to hire a junior position engineer or programmer either, only seasoned professionals with decades of experience in a litany of programming languages, some of which have only been out for a couple of months. Why are companies putting out job offers with sky high demands for just over minimum wage pay? Because they don't want to hire Americans, they want H1B Visas and they need to be able to legally justify hiring H1B Visas by claiming no one in America is qualified for the job position to be filled.

When all these jobs that should be yours to pick from are outright denied to you in favor of jeets and Chinese sweatshop labor, what's left? That's right, the Internet.

Oh, I can just hear boomer Jim Metokur's voice echoing from yesteryear now, "making money on the Internet is gay." Look where he is now, peddling his merchandise on Etsy or whatever e-store he uses. He ate his fucking words. It's so bleak that Null can't make money off of the website he runs itself, he has to make income with a podcast to support it through superchats, especially now that Gumroad has gone belly-up.

At every turn, everyone is trying to take your existing job from you or deny you a new one. Then a window labeled "content creator" opens up, you can make money by posting videos or livestreaming on Youtube or Rumble, you can collect money from fans on Patreon or some other equivalent, you can sell merchandise of your brand name. But the moment that starts to experience turbulence, maybe an advertiser dropped, maybe some faggot tranny is trying to cancel you for being too based, maybe an advertiser pulled out or you lost your e-store. Maybe you're like Null and you're just outright denied access to a payment processor. what voices do you hear in response?

"Go get a real job" & "Youtube isn't a real job"

Who the fuck says this shit? It sure as shit isn't any young person who's had to deal with the current state of the ReAl JoB mArKeT. It's some yesteryear boomer retard who's either already retired or getting ready to retire, someone who hasn't had their job outsourced to a jeet or forced to compete with a jeet.

And this brings me to another point of contention that I have with these retards. Whenever somebody loses their job to outsourcing, illegals, jeets or AI, you faggot boomer retards are always the first to laugh, jeer and gloat that somebody who's not you just lost their job, because being jobless is peak comedy when it happens to somebody else, and it certainly can't happen to you.

Why the fuck do people do that? Your job isn't bullet proof, retard, so why the schadenfreude? You see beach front properties collapsing around you, fold your arms and say "my house is built on better sand than yours." Congratulations, you picked the last domino in the row to fall over, have fun gloating while you can, asshole.

Nobody wants American labor, so why is everyone such an elitist faggot about this non-existent job market paradigm? And what's so wrong with being a Youtuber, anyway?

but your butthurt tone makes me want to respond with "Cope, lmao".
Any criticism of this attitude would be written off as butthurt regardless of the approach because people would ultimately prefer to have their perspective go unchallenged and to feel vindicated that they have everything figured out.

You are misunderstanding why people tell retards on youtube to "get a real job". In 99% of cases it's either because (A). They're bitching about money, in which case they should get a job instead of whining about how their ad revenue has gone down, or (B) they're bitching about how oh-so-hard it is to make videos, which means they should probably do something else if they think it's so much worse than what a typical wagecuck goes through.

It's not a job and people won't respect you for it. Lots of successful youtubers talk about how they had to hold down a real job while they refined their material and attracted a fanbase. It's understandable why you'd do it, but they can rugpull you any time. The ad industry bankrolls the whole internet and it's a zero-sum game.
Those shitty makework office jobs they made for women will at least give you severance, job history, and references when you're done. You need that stuff for other, less shit jobs.

Do keep up the hustle though.

Yep. Always lots of whining about "I had to spend X time editing"

Yeah, sounds like a....oh idk...a JOB. If you don't make enough to be worth the effort then you're just not good at said job and should probably do something else.

They all act like they're entitled to a living wage.

Any job can rugpull you at any time, the company you work for could collapse at any time, HR could just lie about you and fire you. There are ways to make you lose your job and prevent you from getting another one. If some faggot calls your employer to bitch about you often enough you'll get fired, which is what happened to Cobes. Null's entire family were harassed at work either by Vordrak or by trannies. Job security is a myth.

Your job isn't bullet proof, retard.
Being a Youtuber also isn't bulletproof. It is very easy to fuck up your Youtube traction and income. It only takes one spark to start a retard e-celeb drama to fuck everything up for yourself.
Things may even go out of your control. You might just become irrelevant.
But, I digress.

People look at being a Youtuber as not being a real job, because it's uninspiring and very easy to do. Anyone with a computer, stable internet connection and wit, can make content and post in on the Internet. Of course, there are people on the Internet that make very interesting videos that can bring some value, but, let's be real, 90% of all content that you will see on YT is slop anyways. You will have to bring something new to the table to stand out from slop, which is pretty hard for the common man.

The other problem is that it doesn't pay well anyway. Youtube pays jackshit, so earning your keep is solely dependent on donations from people who watch you, and from sponsors.
That is why most Youtubers I hear from and actually watch, are working a normal job, and YT for them is just a hobby.

That too. "I know you already watch, subscribe and click the bell, but could you also like check out my patreon or whatever" totally never gets old.

Just constant e begging.

For every Jim that can pull it off there are thousands upon thousands of useless youtubers who all think they deserve to be successful.

I get a feeling, a dream of becoming Youtube famous is just as the same as a Brazilian kid playing footie in the slums 24/7, in hopes that he will become the next Cristiano Ronaldo.
A salvation that is never coming. It's not that it's impossible for you to become one, it is improbable.

Oh for sure. Just look how many thought they were the next AVGN.

"I just have to play vidya and yell to make sweet cash? Easy money!"

it's as real as any other 'entertainer' type job. actor, comedian, singer, etc.

i think the big thing about it is that a lot of kids wanting to go into that space have unrealistic expectations. they think "wow i can get paid for playing video games all day" but they're actually entering into a hyper competitive field where 99% of people earn below minimum wage. most likely you'll end up wasting years of your life on trying to launch a youtube "career" only to barely make enough money to cover your grocery bills while still living in your moms basement.

basically "i want to be a youtuber" today is what "i want to be a rock star" used to be a few decades ago. plenty of kids back then thought they were going to be the next mick jagger, but just ended up stuck in a band with their stoner friends playing shitty local gigs for chump change. that's why parents tell their kids that it's not a real job.
