Some of the people most in favor of ecological responsibility are people like hunters and fishers who actually deal with the environment in reality instead of just on the Internet. These people tend to trend conservative. They don't want the places they love destroyed by bullshit.

And in a less retarded part of history, they'd even cooperate with people like hippies to ensure this didn't happen. (It's currently the left that has gone full retard.)

The difference is that fish and game management typically takes place on public lands and managed hunting properties, not their front yards. I have had plenty of people flip their shit over vegetation control at me, because a danger tree or a tree that was interfering with powerlines. Its largely the attitude of " the government cant tell me what to do on my own land", even if the effort is well meaning, and situationally correct. Most private land owners that are involved with fish and game management are more accepting of advice and vegetation management work. The common suburbanite is ridiculously ignorant about the natural environment.

I think this can all be solved if we gave California carte blanche to use asbestos in everything. It'll solve all our issues. There still need help in South Carolina or even people displaced from New Mexico Calf Canyon/Hermits Peak fire. They were very poor subsistence farmers living off a few thousand dollar a year and only needed trailer or one room adobe home. They lived off gathering wood in the forest, small farm plots and sold pinon nuts on the road. That was also caused by the government doing a controlled burn in the worst time of the year due to end of Fed budget year.

i think that the politicians have more of a motive to loot the bank while the goy voters have more of a motive to put on a "im a good person" mask with their feels good man voting habits. i mean you see it in all of these cities, where rich liberals vote for the dumbest shit imaginable just so they can parade themselves around as some sort of societal hero when in reality theyre just causing damage.

What it usually means when a lefty wants a solution for it:

• More solar panels
• More wind farms
• Trying to force veganism on people
• Trying to ban cars
• Artificially inflating the electric car market despite lack of electric infrastructure to support it
• Putting more restrictions on hunting
• Putting more restrictions on fishing
• Encouraging bugs as an alternative to beef, chicken, or pork

What they rarely ever mean, or don’t encourage as methods to helping the environment:

• Using tariffs and other trade methods to put pressure on countries like India and China to clean up their waterways and improve air quality
• Encouraging controlled burn methods in forests that are highly prone to burning regularly (such as the forests in California)
• Allowing hunting and fishing in moderation so there isn’t an over abundance of animals like rabbits, deer, or certain species of fish (which would upset an ecosystem)
• Encouraging carpooling to conserve gas over trying to ban cars
• Bringing more manufacturing back to the US where there are more environmental protections than in countries like India and China
• Encouraging more nuclear power for power grids in order to conserve more coal and oil
• Creating regulations on which species of plants people are allowed to have in their homes in order to conserve water (planting non native grasses that require a ton of water in a place like California is how you get water conservation problems)

I’m not against making changes that could improve the environment and make it better for everyone, but lefty solutions are often used too broadly and often lack the foresight on how it would play out long term. This also isn’t helped by climate activists who tout these as the only solutions, and often don’t know what they are talking about due to lack of industry knowledge.
