We need to bring back the Civilian Conservation Corp.
View attachment 6846786
California has a California Conservation Corps, apparently small. Have seen them in our town, going to the nearby state beach planting various plants to help reclaim sand dunes and building some fencing. They don't wear uniforms or have military discipline.

So I live very near the region that got hit by the hurricane. It’s like 4 months later and people are still in tents, and going into debt day by day for propane to heat what ever shanty they have. People who are in hotels are being kicked out by tomorrow morning (as if writing this) as the vouchers are running out. They’re in the middle of a cold snap, people WILL freeze to death.

Biden not only promised the feds will pay for all rebuilding efforts in California for 6 months, they sent another $500 million to Ukraine.

Fuck ALL those people.

They were GLEEFUL watching everything people owned being washed away and dozens of deaths and injuries bc of who the **region** voted for- not each victim, just the fact the region is red was enough for them to jump and clap like chimps. We’ve constantly eaten the shit they’ve voted for, the can live in their own shit holes for a while. I’m sorry for the pain, injuries and death but what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. I’ll do the good southern thing and donate what I can when I can but I won’t weep for the people who would happily clap as my entire family drowned in a mudslide bc someone MIGHT have voted for Trump.

Edit: just to be clear I’m not cheering on the deaths and destruction, I’m bitter about the differences in how the big cities are treated to how we’re being treated. Appalachia has done a lot for our country and we’re constantly shit on and forgotten. So I don’t encourage violence or withholding supplies, but I’m not gonna shed a tear and tear my hair out in grief.
Just as a little update to the NC situation, as the federal government pays for the rebuilding of a problem California themselves created, people are being evicted from the hotels fema was paying for.

It’s about 25° in Asheville NC, w 25-30 mph winds. They’re supposed to be in a 24 hour extension till Sunday morning but it doesn’t matter. These people don’t even have tents. They’ll quietly freeze to death while Biden spoon feeds crack heads and illegals a $250/per person for the rest of his term.

Edit: More substantial of a source than a tweet

“ when temperatures across the Appalachian Mountain region are expected to be below 20 degrees.”

They reference an “operation boots on the ground” if anyone has addtl info on them for us

Air India can help put out fires.

I don't think Newsom is finished. The man is a weasel and he has presidential aspirations. He will sacrifice whoever he must to get ahead. The mayor is going to be the sacrificial lamb; she's malicious, but not terribly bright, so it'll be easy for Gavin to paint her as the responsible party.

It's not just all of his fuckups leading up this, but also everything over the next two years until his term as governor is up. He may try to sacrifice others, but I don't know that it'll work. The mayor should certainly go, a stupid bitch who most certainly fired (until someone else explained to her how bad of a move this would be for all kinds of reasons and that she really ought to reconsider) the acting fire chief during a major fire outbreak isn't just going to take it sitting down and will act like the retarded DEI cunt that she is and causing all manner of blowback.

Trump is going to actively go out of his way to make Gavin his bitch. He's already called for Newsom to resign and could certainly dangle a better deal at the feet of California voters if they were to recall Newsom again. The only thing that might stop him is that the Lt. Governor is massive cunt that tried getting Trump removed from the ballot in California. The Democrats have a few other good contenders for 2028 and many of them are governors with a much better track record than Gavin Newsom had.

Most cities in American just dont plan for wild fires. Even if plans like bulldozing and maintaining fire breaks were developed, it would be nearly impossible to the get the public and city councils do implement or pay for preparedness and needed fire control zones. Politicians simply don't want too spend the money on safety, or dont want to take money needed because they are trying to get re-elected.
For most cities in America annual Wildfires are not a thing. If they see a major fire it is once a century after several years of drought. Most of America East of the Rockies tends to be rather damp. They worry more about flooding. The main exceptions is a few relatively small areas of coastal Pine Barrens. Most of which have been protected from fire with a thick layer of concrete, asphalt and Amazon shipping warehouses.

They are mostly soap. The most damaging thing in them is the red indicator dye, which can stain some surfaces.
The forest service uses this shit called Phos-Chek LC95A. Here's the MSDS:

Ammonium Polyphosphate sounds spooky but it's not really harmful to humans. Not a good idea to eat food that's been sprayed with it, and it can fuck up fish in local waterways at high concentrations, but it's not really toxic and isn't considered to be carcinogenic. The smoke from the fires themselves and all the random crap burning in people's houses (cars, electronics, batteries, furniture, PVC construction materials, paint, etc etc etc) is a lot more of a health concern.

Though of course the 5-10% "performance additives" made of mystery bullshit does not inspire confidence.

My Grandfather worked for the national one in the 30's. He earned $30 a month of which $25 was sent back to his family. Made enough scratch to buy himself a small plot of land and a canvas army tent for my Grandmother and him to live in while he built their home.

nowhere in this list do they ever include nuclear power, the one genuinely almost totally carbon neutral energy source.
The aversion to nuclear power has been pissing me off for over a decade now.
Its the cleanest option. Its the smartest option. The most high tech option. We have the smartest people, we can do something with the waste eventually. Small geographical footprint. Theres some issues with the warm water but thats negligible.

I guess I should be glad they haven't opened any because they would be run by trannies and DEI hires who would almost certainly cause a meltdown and ruin nuclear energy for a century.

its a good time to check your insurance policies. this is just the beginning the global homo want there beast system and mericans didn't go for it in the plandemic, now they going to burn your city down till you beg like a worm. this is a war between the central planners and the people. hope you have been paying attention.

I have a feeling a lot of people are going to find out how insurance works in 4-6 weeks.
Best case: You get ratfucked for a value of the home that is 1/10th of what you 'could get'
Worst case: CA/LA mismanagement of the water supply and Fire Dept. invalidates your policy.
It's a real possibility.
Or your insurance company just leaves the state and invalidates all claims.
The potential legal ramifications in this disaster might just be cheaper than paying out 100,000+ million dollar claims.

(Reminder, the Bank gets paid first. You don't own your house if you have a mortgage.)

Potatoes. Yeah, real exciting.
lemme tell ya, if all you get all year are potatoes the size of fucking marbles, and then finally get a proper tater the size of a football - that shit is exciting.

Assuming the story is true/based on a real event, then it could have been inspired by a meteor strike. Ancient City’s Destruction by Exploding Space Rock May Have Inspired Biblical Story of Sodom + Could Sodom have been destroyed by meteor?
wouldn't any meteorite big enough to survive entry have to be so big it would nuke more than just a city?

If you did this shit even in commie China you'd be having your organs harvested.
that's the biggest irony of the left and why they're they own worst enemy. no one would give a shit if most stuff would still be done properly to some degree and the potential fallout would be small.
instead they fuck up so hard so repeatedly, you inevitably have more and more people go "if I get to have a boot on my neck, at least make it one where those fuckers get punished".

Found this comment on Freakin Awesome Network, LA fire and Hogan related:

Is Hogan even known for being charitable, or would he do this as an opportunist?
"Lemme tell ya somethin', brother! The Hulkster gives everything to his Hulkamaniacs! If you want free Real American Beer, then I'm your guy, brother! If you want discount signatures so you can sell them to help rebuild a new home, no problem brother. But my arthritis only allows one a piece, brother."

He's given a lot of money away, but I'm in the boat it's just for opportunities sake.

It's called Phos-Chek. It's a mixture of poly-phosphates and clay that stick to surfaces and inhibit fire. As it degrades afterwards, the phosphate is absorbed by the ground and surrounding plants and used as fertilizer.

It can stain, and can also harden into a cement-like substance that can make it hard to remove off of buildings.

Neat! The CCC, while a civilian organization, was run by the Army, the only organization that could handle large numbers of young men on short notice.

Here is a very interesting story regarding how the Army took care of these young men. The Army's Quartermaster Corps is responsible for providing the Army's food, uniforms, and supplies other than weapons.

Wild fires yes, as most fires dont get beyond a few acres and happen every day somewhere. I live in a wet state, during the main two fire seasons, there is normally 5 or 6 statewide a day, sometimes when things get cooking, has hit 116 fires in a day (2016). Smaller, but more numerous fires. The media never reports on these!!!! Really there is no need too. Wind isnt a big issue in the eastern us, or southeast. Fuel types are completely different too. But just a few days of warm weather and low humidity can dry fuels out enough to get a fire going.

Concrete and asphalt isnt helping in 50 mph winds and thick, hot burning vegetation in urban areas.
