Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

It's a natural disaster, not an actual laser selectively blasting specific people who "deserve" and "voted for" whatever.
But they totally deserved it because they were born in the wrong place and didn't uproot themselves and move somewhere BASED instead!

People who have raised a family to maturity while running a successful small business don't typically feel they are "stagnating" ju
This is a funny point to bring up considering California is experiencing population decline to the point it's projected to lose EC votes. It's not merely an online thing - it's just a fact that state is a shit hole and ca not be saved. Housing costs are out of control, and wild fires aren't making things any better. The fact of matter is a better life is possible, and many people in California are clearly seeing that else where.

Also isn't LA hosting the Olympics in 2028? The IOC takes full control over the development and building of a city a few years before the event, so how will that affect LA rebuilding?

The Family Archeops has calmed down a bit now that the Palisades Fire is moving south towards Brentwood but we’re still a bit anxious. I don’t think we’ll truly feel at ease until first responders make serious headway towards full containment for both of the “big” fires.
So all hysteria and dooming aside, what are the actual odds this turns into a worst case scenario and you end up with a couple million people trapped by a ring of fire? Any actual expertfags here? All the news just cares about clicks right now so it’s hard to get the real score on what the prognosis is.
I’d consider it low, the Archer Fire is dead and the Hurst Fire is slowly going out which leaves exits to the North towards The Grapevine while there are other ways out of valley in the other three compass-point directions.
Got info that someone was trying to start a fire in Camarillo and got caught.
Also, a rumor that possible illegal gang members were planning to burn Palisade and loot the houses.
That was the running theory since as early as yesterday, especially for the now-dead Sunset Fire.

Gee, wouldn’t t have been nice to have a few hundred of New Yorks Bravest come in to help? But the Mayor told FDNY to Fuck Off. I cannot imagine how that decision has gone over out on the fire lines.
wait, I didn't hear about this. Last I heard we have firefighters from Canada and Mexico enroute so why not NY????

My nigga, having a business automatically makes moving harder because it puts your business at a disadvantage. You are taking your business to new customers who have never heard of you on top of the costs of moving and legal bullshit involved, and you are in competition with businesses who are already known there. It's not that easy.

But they totally deserved it because they were born in the wrong place and didn't uproot themselves and move somewhere BASED instead!
At this point whenever I hear someone say "just moooooove it's so easy mooooove will solve all your problems, only an idiot wouldn't just throw away everything and moooooove" I know I am talking to someone who has nothing, has built nothing, and has no coherent plan to ever be able to build anything.

And again I ask, if they all mooooove to the based places, who gets to live in the beautiful real estate left behind? Chinks? Saudis? Canadian style jeet invasion? Central American slave labor in huge hives? And is this really an improvement for the country as a whole?

You don't do that with other Americans. Fuck off.
We don't have any more Brits to do it with though. That tree needs some watering.

The 30 year old MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVER. OMG I'm gonna MOOOOOOOOOOOV! (Never moovs)

That is a good point, I don't know if they were planning on building any new stadiums for the Olympics but I'm gonna give it a 1% crack theory of the fire being an elaborate Judge Doom-esque plot to steal land for the games.

Or they'll just move it since no one is gonna wanna risk a giant fire during the Olympics fucking with the air quality. I've got a friend in south LA, so nowhere near the fire, but the ash and shit in the air is getting to em when they get outside just to walk around.

It's only really NEETs, in my experience, who complain about moving. But, you're right, I don't want every Californian to move. Just only the ones that realize it's shit and did not contribute to it's decline. I don't blame Korean business owners for that, but I do blame people like you for staying there and being politically ineffective.

Listen I heard something about watering a tree called Liberty, idk.
In what way is "permitting a bunch of hapless civilians to burn to death because of government corruption and incompetence" a form of revolutionary action?

Unless you mean it's the Chinese who need to be watering our tree of liberty for some reason.

I have never seen him with any of his actual firefighters. Yet to grand stand he does a photo op in Spanish, with Mexican firefighters.
So, that's the plan. Newsom is already focusing on the next political battle for him. He'll probably use the Mexican firemen force as a political piece against deportation and to rally the californians behind him, claiming that they helped dealt with the fires.

At least, that's my guess.
