Obviously I don't take the hardline stance they do about it but I wanted to point out that what Alyssa is doing here is classic childish bullying. She tracked down Adam, in the replies to a thread, and is specifically warning him that he needs to "fit in" with the dominant clique and culture of the website or leave. All for expressing an opinion she doesn't even disagree with: she hates Israel which Adam believes to be anti-Semitic. She's specifically attempting to police Adam's behavior by appealing to what she believes is everyone else's opinion: that it's uncouth to criticize the opinion Alyssa has about this subject.

Alyssa's trying to pivot Adam's accurate response to the social situation away from that topic to try and gin up hatred against his Israel position instead so as to give her the socially dominant position again. The most typical wannabe bully response you can imagine. You don't have to agree with Adam's Israel stance to see that he accurately has Alyssa's number in this conversation and she doesn't know what to do but can't let him have the last word or she'll feel he bested her which is completely unacceptable to her narcissist self-image.
