You are completely correct. Dream cemented this kind of audience for himself and has been cleanly outplayed in it by TommyInnit, the guy he coached in always apologizing and grovelling to his audience in these matters.

He also got help from Wilbur, someone who was more naturally a creator for that kind of audience, and admitted Will was teaching him on how to act better for his prog audience, which may bite him in the ass it he ever gets allegations judging by how the man himself replied to being accused of abuse.

Dream isn't that kind of guy, he used to have the standard Minecraft audience of tweenage to teenaged boys and he probably wanted to be more like Pewdiepie, soft-edgy stuff and all. But the stans gave him more positive attention by being obsessed with him personally so he chose this and he's in self inflicted Hell because he must care what others think about him. Looking forward to more schizo statements about how people hate him because he's from Florida.

Dream is the kind of person that really should just shut the fuck up and make entertaining videos for the sole purpose of entertain.
Literally the only thing he's good at.

This might just be me but I always found Dream's content to be subpar compared to other Minecraft youtubers of his level of fame or lower, including people I never enjoyed either. He and his friends are painfully unfunny to me. Is this only me or are his videos, compared to other mc youtubers, only fit for a younger child audience? In my eyes his only quality as a Minecraft youtuber is his skill at the game, not at all his personality, which may explain his trouble in getting an audience that sticks to him without growing out of it or being extremely mentally ill parasocial girls who want to sexualize him in a weird gay way.

If this is the case he has no hope of getting out of this drama looking good, he is just too autistic and not charismatic enough. That's the X factor that makes people calling him retarded acceptable that he doesn't grasp. Dream, once you realize this, call TommyInnit a nigger and double down on it when questioned. This is your only path to redemption.

The manhunts and challenges he does with friends, such as the death shuffle are quite creative and gives them chances to do some good (albeit most probably staged) plays. And his skill at the game got tarnished by him cheating in Minecraft. I think out of the 2020 MCYT streamers it was only him, Technoblade , and Philza who were mainly popular for being good at Minecraft. Dream cheated one of his speedruns and didn't have the decency to admit it, Technoblade died of cancer and Philza honestly isn't too interesting besides the fact that he married one of his fans/Twitch mods, inb4 retard stans accuse him of grooming an almost 40 year old woman
