Does anybody know what the deal with these avatars is? They're everywhere and they're all identical, and they seem to be a pretty reliable indicator of bad opinions second only to those mental illness hearts.

It's just the Reddit alien mascot but personalized to the user's taste. Having one basically affirms your subservience to the reddit hivemind.

Decided to do the legwork. Turns out there are 6ish default avatars that Reddit randomly selects for you upon account creation. So this avatar, along with the other ones, signifies one of three things:
  • Too lazy to change avatar
  • Exclusively uses old Reddit and doesn't even know avatars exist
  • Bot
I think the third option is the most common, hence my earlier comment about bad opinions. I see them a lot in engagement bait and propaganda threads.

This post hits many of the redditor greatest hits: Disney adult, deciding to fly across the country and go to didneyworl despite throwing up blood, bringing up her poonerity out of the blue so she could talk about being oppressed by Florida (which she, again, risked her life to fly to voluntarily), in incredibly bad shape.

But I think my favorite thing about this post was unintentional. You see, there's a genre of post on reddit where a woman says her doctors ignored her malingering totally real EDS/fibromyalgia/etc. and then a bunch of radfems pile in to jerk each other off over how much doctors HATE WOMEN. Only they couldn't do that this time, because in this case the ovarian cysts are on a male man's super masculine ovaries, dood! As a result, there are very few comments for how many uptokes this post got, and they're all very generic. It's some incredibly dry, subtle humor, but damn if it isn't still hilarious.

It's also unintentionally hilarious they still felt the need to include their little jab at Florida while receiving significantly better healthcare then whatever blue shit hole they hail from

Redditors claim the transgender debate is as simple as
"So you are trans."
"yes"
"Are you happy?"
"yes"
A MAGA chud then mentions Jesus and the debates over completely ignoring the transgenders eventual suicide attempt because in the reddit world, whatever hedonism makes you happy is all that matters.
this subreddit should be called r/MadeMeRage

All those downvotes for Islam, when that is indeed very culty. I've never heard of Christians killing people who try to leave the religion, or for wearing the wrong thing, or for trying to not marry a gross older man when being 12 etc (not in modern times anyway).

From the makers of "Her prostate" we bring you: His Ovaries.

I know the concept, but I've seen numerous ones that are dressed up exactly like this. They're too similar to be a coincidence.
Some of the outfits you can buy with real money and a smaller selection are free. I'm guessing that you're seeing the free ones more often because most people won't want to pay for stuff.

As someone who found solace in religion later in life my parents were actually highly abusive and both liberal I've actually not met a single religious person who abuses their kids it's without question liberal parents who are the most abusive every religious person I've ever met with kids is extremely supportive of the kids interests helps the kids with their schoolwork and goes above and beyond for their children.

There's definitely people that have done that, and redditors would bring them up, ignoring that none of that is suggested in the bible or is outright forbidden while islam literally tells muslims to kill nonbelievers

There's plenty of old testament examples of those things being encouraged or happening. Deuteronomy explicitly instructs you to kill anyone that encourages you to worship another god, including any of your family members. And since we're in the Reddit thread I'm sure we've heard more about the laws in Leviticus from atheists more than anyone else. I am aware of the new covenant Christians are supposed to have with God through Jesus and the difference between the Gospels and Old Testament, but that doesn't stop people who claim to be Christian from selectively using the Old Testament to justify their own social agendas.
