I am very conflicted about all of this. One the one hand, seeing the extreme left paying a price for their idiocy is fine by me, but on the other... well, I really hate to see innocent people suffer for no damn good reason.
Good news, there are no innocent people in LA.
Even when the consequences of their retarded world view are being ridiculed on a world stage they still don't see how stupid and gay they are lol

You will still have to share a country with them, whoever they may be. Then what?
We eject California from the union, quarantine it, and shoot anyone that tries to hop the border. The risk of them spreading is too high. I'm sorry Cali-Kiwis.

Someone please explain to me how DEI caused these fires to start again?
The theory is that incompetence contributed to the severity of the fire damage. The incompetence stemming from people who hold positions of responsibility that directly or indirectly affect a fire situation. The theory then being that incompetent people were hired to fill diversity quotas rather than being qualified to do their job.

Or - money diverted from essential resources to fund DEI initiatives which are a waste of time and money compared to having an adequate response to emergency situations. Ideology over all.

IMO I don't think it's entirely this but I'd bet money it was a contributing factor.

DEI didn’t start the fires. DEI attributed to the rampant spread as, for some reason, DEI became the focal point of funding and recruiting for firefighting positions. Skip over a more qualified employee for someone who fits your agenda. Is this really difficult to comprehend?

If you had the proper people in place the combat the fires and the proper funding, do you think this would have been as exacerbated as it is?

Look I know you're from 2014 and thus have more dementia than Biden, but there's this neat thing called the highlights feature, go back a few pages and you'll find the easily accessible answer instead of begging around like it's Reddit.

Anyhows for people looking for a decently updated source on containment outside of xitter, I suggest this: https://www.fire.ca.gov/incidents/

You can click on each fire to bring up their map view and the last update. They're on the ball for substantial updates.

There's also this site, which not only shows the usual information, but also the active flights of Calfire and related aircraft, as well as even special notices for wind gusts: https://calfire-forestry.maps.arcgi...tml?webscene=0a7381c8b46b4e26a057383424f32c06

Enjoy!
