Symptoms of long term decongestant (psuedophedrine) use include:
* Rebounded nasal congestion cause by overuse of decongestants
- Excitability
- Fear
- Tenseness
- Pallor
- Rhinitis medicamentosa (RM)*
- Dependence**
** and the withdrawal symptoms that come with it every time you start coming down
Additionally, consuming large amounts of caffeine can worsen the side effects of pseudoephedrine.
Go to a fucking doctor, you fucking drug addict.
Is his bathroom counter littered with medications?I'll admit, this puts that image of their counter absolutely littered with decongestants and general medication in a very unfortunate light...

If you need to keep this much medication at the ready, you're either an extreme hypochondriac or there's something wrong and need to head to a doctor before it starts to get worse.
I literally cannot imagine Phil being a hypochondriac. If you need to keep this much medication at the ready, you're either an extreme hypochondriac or there's something wrong and need to head to a doctor before it starts to get worse.
And frankly I don't know which one Phil is.

I've actually got something through my work's insurance that allows me to call a number, describe my symptoms, and receive a prescription over the phone. Costs me a few bucks out of my check each month, and I can just drive down to the local pharmacy and pick up my medicine within an hour. There's also a fee of about 40 bucks for getting a phone appointment, but that's still a hell of a lot better than an actual office visit.I bet he wouldn't need half of that OTC stuff if he went to a doctor or an ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) specialist.
I think that's a bottle of Nyquil behind the bottle of Robitussin, too.The Mucinex, Robitussin, and nasal spray all contain psuedophedrine.
What a snot-nosed prick.Hypochondriac might be a stretch, but all signs point to Phil knowing better than any doctor when it comes to health (snort) alright?
