It depends entirely on wind and weather. The two largest fires are past the point of the humans on the ground being able to do shit if the wind picks up again. And a nice hit of rain would go a long way towards putting them out or bringing them under control. The Winds supposed to pick back up to 40-60 mph tomorrow. Which way it blows will determine of things get better or much much worse.

Add to this, what will happen when they turn the power grid back on? How many new fires will we suddenly see? The only thing that will end this decisively is rain. The only way the firefighters win is if the wind dies down or stops long enough that the fires stop moving and they can pour water on them from the planes.

It would have been worse for the people on the ground. Because then they could not have tried to and fail to scapegoat Trump, and we would see Newscum vs Kamala. With it being mostly covered up, and supressed online thanks to the CEOs eating the Democrat boots and asking for seconds. The people would have been supressed and papered over. Anyone asking where all the water went would have had their lives ruined by activists and press. To keep them in line. It would be a stazi state.

Find an owl burrow on Monday, it's gone by Tuesday. Find a Swainson's Hawk nest on Tuesday, the grove is gone by Wednesday. Find a fairy shrimp on Wednesday, the vernal pool is gone by Thursday. Find an elderberry stand on Thursday, it's a churned up pile of roots by Friday. Come the following Monday, it's a totally plowed over dirt field ready for a bunch of shit to be built.

You can be cynical about some of this shit, but this one genuinely flouts all environmental laws.

That 100-apartment 3-story building right next to the freeway and across from the business park IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN with ample parking and access to public transportation needs Tribal consultation to make sure that it's not built on a fuckin' Indian burial ground. The new mall that's going to be built on the footprint of the old mall needs an aesthetics review because it's going to be 20 feet higher than the old mall and it might shade something, or mar someone's view, and we have to take into account that more people might visit the new mall, so it needs a whole fuckin' traffic study to make sure that the major arterial roads that the mall borders are able to handle all the new business.

So, what's the current sitch on conspiracy theories? Why did TPTB burn down LA? Was it to remove Palisades early enough to replace it with an updated Smart City ahead of the Olympic Games 2028? Delta City style?

Simply a snake shedding its skin. Wooden Tokyo had to burn so that superslick Neo-Tokyo could rise from the ashes, so it benefits the existing residents' children, aliens, human-alien hybrids, and reptilians(but not naga/snake people) to allow L.A. to burn to a comfortable level. If it was important, UFOs would intervene but they haven't, so it's obviously all going to plan.
