WA judge releases repeat-offending 'violent', 'dangerous' convicted pedophile without bail 5 times in 2 months

article/archive

A Washington state judge has repeatedly released a violent, repeat offender with an extensive criminal history, including sex crimes against women and children, from jail without bail. Kenneth Christopher Martinez, 44, of Walla Walla, was arrested five times between October and December on charges including assault, domestic violence, criminal trespassing, and violating a protection order. Walla Walla County Judge Kristian E. Hedine released him from jail without bail in each of those cases, court records show.

A concerned resident contacted The Post Millennial about the matter, claiming that Martinez, a registered level III sex offender who has a conviction for raping a 9-month-old infant, has allegedly shown up at their residence repeatedly in recent weeks to stalk a new female victim. But because Judge Hedine continues to release Martinez from custody, they say they fear for their safety.

Martinez has been convicted of first-degree child molestation, first-degree sexual abuse, third-degree rape, and failure to register as a sex offender. He has a history of stalking and has spent years in prison. Multiple women have been granted protection orders against him, court filings show.

On November 2, 2024, Martinez was arrested by the Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office for returning to the home of a female victim who had a protection order placed against him. He was booked into jail on criminal trespassing charges and violating and protection order. Judge Hedine released him from jail without bail two days later, according to jail records.

Prior to his November release, Martinez was arrested on October 4 for criminal trespass and was released from custody the following day based on his own recognizance. On October 7, he was arrested by the Walla Walla Police Department on obstruction charges and was released the next day. Martinez was arrested again on October 26 for assault. He was released from jail two days later. Judge Hedine released him from custody in each of these cases.

Martinez has an extensive criminal history dating back to 1996 when he was convicted of sexually abusing a 9-month-old infant, according to court records. In 2000, he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a female victim and was sentenced to 180 days in Walla Walla County jail followed by one year of supervised probation, court filings show.

According to court records, Martinez failed to register as a sex offender in 2002 and was sentenced back to jail for 51 days, along with 12 months of supervised release. In 2003, he failed to register again and was sentenced to 270 days behind bars. Martinez also broke probation in that case, per court filings.

In 2004, Martinez was arrested on charges including second-degree robbery, first-degree theft, hit and run, and third-degree malicious mischief. The robbery charge was dropped as part of a plea deal. He was sentenced back to jail for 5.8 years but was granted an early release after serving roughly 3 years of that sentence, according to court filings.

Shortly after his release from jail, Martinez was arrested on kidnapping and rape charges in 2007. The victim was a 32-year-old mentally disabled woman. According to court records, Martinez pleaded guilty to third-degree rape and received a 5-year prison sentence followed by 48 months of supervised release. While in custody, Martinez attempted to escape and received an additional 270 days in jail.

In 2017, Martinez was taken into custody on charges including residential burglary-domestic violence, third-degree theft, and violation of a protection order. He was sentenced to 2 years in jail, along with 12 months of supervised probation. In June 2019, he was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, and violating a protection order. He received a 60-month jail sentence but was granted an early release in 2021, records show.

Since his 2021 release from custody, Martinez racked up a series of traffic violations before his most recent arrests in late 2024.

Despite Martinez's serious criminal history, Judge Hedine has continued to release him back into the public and he is now targeting a new female victim. Hedine was elected to the Walla Walla District Court in 2010. He later became the presiding judge in 2014 and was most recently reelected in 2022, according to his judicial biography.

Doesn't matter, the shitlib is devoid of any moral compass. Their priorities are how much carpet they can munch, or what they can shove up their ass; and how they can teach both to small children. They relate to the child rapist as a kindred spirit.

This is when fed-postable actions are 100% justified if it comes within 100 ft of your family. No jury in the universe would convict you.
Mexicans fuck like rabbits and have more family than you can imagine. If you thought that Neely's family coming out of the woodwork (conveniently) to bleed Penny dry after an estranged family member died was bad, then it will boggle the mind when the multiple busloads of people who preach that family is everything start pouring in to get their cut. Even if you survive the criminal trial, Juan Estavez Jimenez Carlos Santiago Carlita Fenando Sanchez Frederico Amelio Alejandro Jesus Cardinal II will surely try for his cut in civil somehow, along with the rest.

Not when Trump puts them in the border trebuchets and sends them on a "flight" back across the border.

On a separate note, it'd be great if a good samaritan helped the guy meet God early.
The man wouldn't make it past Peter and Gabe.
This judge is either compromised or severely biased, because this makes no sense.
I was entertaining the thought of cartel money earlier, that's where my bet would be at if this article had even a hint of gang activity in it. If true there could be a bright future where his head can preside over a pike in Juarez after a loan default, and brighter still when somebody who isn't a traitor to American or, fuck it, human interests takes the seat to put Martinez away for multiple lifetimes.

Its largely a myth that small towns are stocked with BASED CONSERVATIVES.

Kiwis love saying things like "Muh heckin' based ruralrinos will save us, uh huh. Wholesome chungus 100!" but the reality is that hicklibs have completely taken over. Rural voters are some of the most hardcore child raping liberals on Earth.
Walla Walla is the Napa of Washington. Rich shitlibs from Seattle and Portland have flocked there to start wineries, and it's also a college town. On top of that, it's home to Washington's second-largest state prison, so a lot of criminals just end up sticking around after getting released.

I honestly think some of these judges are psychopaths themselves and enjoy inflicting harm on women and children by proxy. This judge is on a tremendous power trip. He probably thinks it's funny that no one can stop him from doing this.
They're likely into the same shit, or at least are true Wokeists who believe 100% in their religion so every minority needs a free pass because of social justice.

Liberals have probably been strategically installed everywhere to turn as many places into hellholes as possible.

Once he'd be on his spiritual journey off this mortal coil it'd be his problem :smug:

100% but that begs the question why? What does the judge get out of letting some broke no-prospects beaner back onto the streets to keep raping? I can't imagine the judge is being paid for it, unless this lunatic has buku bucks through gang connections or something. I can't even imagine what the actual advantage to this would be, though I'm inclined to agree.
I am really curious what his stated explanation would be. As obvious as it would be that the explanation is bullshit, it would be interesting to see how his mind works. How does he think the public sees this situation? And through his given explanation, we can see what silly shit he thinks will pacify the rubes.

I suspect he'll say something inane like how he needs to steward the scarce resource of prison beds, so he has to save them for only the most immediate risks to public safety. "Call back when he starts the B&Es" or some shit. Just dodging the question.

That's more or less what I expect we'd get in that situation myself. He 100% needs to be put under the microscope by local reporters. Well, maybe back when they still had some modicum of integrity; these days he'd probably just be trumpeted as a supporter of the brave Mexican tradition of fucking toddlers.

Kathy Schirmer is the name that comes up for me. On Facebook (and Instagram) her surname is Schirmer Hedine. Honestly not much to see (publicly) from her fb profile, and her Instagram doesn’t have any posts. Does seem to confirm her husband (referred to as Kris by her and all her fb friends) doesn’t have a Facebook profile though.
She posts just very standard middle-aged woman stuff; some selfies for profile pics, photos of the deer in her backyard, pics taken out her car widow of severe weather conditions, a singular older post that implies she’s not fan of Hillary, marriage anniversary posts, a kind of surprising lack of click-baity repost chains or mobile game links… oh, and SHOES. My god this woman must be drowning in shoes she needs to get rid of based on her posts in her local yard sale group.
I have a handful of inactive accounts from the two of them across other sites, but honestly I’m not going to bother linking them unless someone asks. There’s really nothing interesting to see.

Anyways, here’s an interesting case I came across while looking into the judge. I’m sure most judges have to deal with disgruntled people like this, but it’s still interesting in my opinion.
Kristian E. Hedine, et al v. Alexis Guerrero (Majority) (PDF here)
Alexis Guerrero posted a video on YouTube entitled “THREATENED by a JUDGE!!”. The video depicted an encounter at the district court between Mr. Guerrero and Judge Kristian Hedine, Court Administrator Clara Grant, and Probation Officer Ashely Kulberg.
Mr. Guerrero’s YouTube post included the following description of the video:
Protesting a $10 parking ticket should never have this result. A judge should know his place and shouldn’t cause a disturbance as he did or act beyond his authority as well. The unethical behavior was reported to the Commission of Judicial Conduct, and they found no misconduct or unethical behavior By [sic]judge Hedine. Well I beg to differ and I’m sure I’m not alone in tht [sic] opinion. Let’s give them a call and let them know how you feel about the violation of rights that are clear in this video! Title 18 section 242. Deprivation of rights under the color of law.
The video was also posted on a second YouTube channel that was not controlled by Mr. Guerrero. Between the two postings, the video received over 10,000 views. Mr. Guerrero posted a comment on one of the videos, stating in part:
Google how [Judge Hedine] initially got put into the bench and you will clearly see that it was initially by default and he’s just taking over for another piece of shit judge. Who clearly had his own issues with sleeping with a married staff.
Mr. Guerrero appealed the protection orders to superior court. A superior court judge reviewed the YouTube videos along with the report of proceedings and the district court’s written findings. The superior court found substantial evidence in support of the district court’s findings and largely affirmed the restraining orders. However, the court ruled the orders as to Ms. Grant and Ms. Kulberg must be modified to eliminate a prohibition on posting defamatory content. The court made this modification based on the fact that only Judge Hedine had made allegations of defamation.
From an article about it:
A judge in Washington state recently failed in his attempt to obtain a court order that would have proactively restrained a citizen from posting “defamatory” or “harassing” speech about the judge. The judge’s efforts were a classic attempt at “prior restraint” and it ran headlong into the protection afforded by the First Amendment.
And another disgruntled person aired their grievances towards the judge in a post on a site dedicated to “Earth Empaths” (lol). Though these parts did stick out to me a bit given the suspicions some of y’all have (warning: varying levels of schizo posting)
When the hearing was declared over by the shithead judge, with no other cases behind us to justify the early ending, Kristian Hedine was eager to get into his sporty red BMW car and leave the building.

Fortunately for me, I saw what he was doing and that the recorder was on. I asked "How much did he pay you?" to the judge and he was very flustered and angry.
Judge Hedine asked me if I was suggesting he takes bribes and I said Yes. He said "I've never met this man before", to which I replied, "I heard both of you talking in the office back there" (judge's private hallway carries sound into the courtroom and I was early). He admitted that yes, Daniel had been in the judge's office (I heard him say something about his wife).
She seems to mostly be talking to her self in the thread, using it as a kind of journal as she engages in legal battle against her landlord (Daniel Ojcius) who she believes is running a drug ring and has the judge in his pocket. She is convinced her landlord is also behind the vehicular manslaughter(?) of a local teacher.
I'm currently researching the death of Walla Walla high school drama teacher Brian Senters, who was struck and killed around 10pm on a Saturday in October one day after being placed on administrative leave.

He knew my landlord who I suspect to be leading a drug ring.

The man who allegedly hit Brian Senters and killed him was the executive of Port Walla Walla.

There were no skid marks and the investigation blamed the teacher's mental state instead of looking into what he had discovered at that high school.

Port of Walla Walla would be one of the first places I'd look into re smuggling unless private trade has overtaken the opportunity.
I looked at Zillow semi randomly this evening and saw that Brian Senter was hit on a road that lies DIRECTLY between the houses of Kristian Hedine and Daniel Ojcius.

Reser road is between the cemetery by Hedine's house and connects to Kendall road, where my druglord landlord lives in lavish comfort.
Also, Kristian Hedine is the chair and one of three judges on the State of Washington Commission on Judicial Conduct.

He also used to be part of a defunct HOA: Day Break Estates Homeowners Association.

Sorry for the long post, I’m just particularly nosey today I guess.

Anarcho tyranny, my friend.

I can kinda see releasing a suspect without bail if they have no other charges in the system. Especially if this is their very first offense. Just let them know this is an exemption that relaying on them not getting in more trouble during the process and they are good to go. Most normal people are so terrified of the law and the shame of the whole thing that they don't need more insentives to step up. So sure. It might let some habitual criminals to get away with their shit longer but how helpful it is to normies that genuinely just made a mistake, had a bad day or are innocent, I see the social value. It can be for the best to let some accused of crime go free without bail.

That to be said, the bail system exists for a reason. Most crime is done by the chronically criminal. They aren't going to stop unless their environment makes them stop. They need insentives to behave, and most need the stick rather carrots. Bail is one of the most gentle sticks there are. We hold a sum of money or other assets as an insentive so that you will take care of the case and no matter what happens to your case you will get the money back. Yes, you can be found guilty and the money is still returned to you or who ever paid it for you as long as you show up.

Yes, I know about arguments that this criminalizes poverty and punishes without due process but I'm not convinced. Sure the poor and the lower class can have harder time to coming up with the money but that still doesn't change that it's a gentle tool that should be used. Unreasonable mercy on the quilty is punishment for the innocent. Just letting repeating offenders go is clearly not working and most people, especially those with low IQ and poor impulse control, respond better to immediate consequences. Even when if those immediate consequences are much much lesser than the eventual proper consequences.

So what should be done? Give judges some ability to waive a bail depending on the case but put hard limits on repeated behavior. First timers? Not automatic but allowed without much justifications. Second offense? Maybe but less recommended and does need justification. Third time? Only if the accused crime is minor and monetary consequences would be severe. Fourth and beyond? Basically no bare the most extreme of circumstances. Also skipping a bail waived case should automatically prevent you from receiving more bail waiving unless you can proof that the skipping was unavoidable or otherwise not your fault (like being unconscious in a hospital).

That's great and all but he raped a toddler and has been out checks notes five times. There's no shame in the void where this freak's soul should be.
So what should be done?
Well, seeing as one of his victims was a toddler, I should think the death penalty would be good enough. He wasn't out there dodging parking tickets, why are you arguing for him?

I wasn't talking about him specifically but about the general trend that resulted him being out in the first place. "Bail bad" is currently very fasion in fancy and ever so righteous highly educated circles that live in their safe gated communities. Many judges either come from that part of society or really really would like to belong because money and prestige.
Kill yourself
Nah.
