Hazbin Hotel / Helluva Boss Thread - Now a Griefing Thread

That's funny, I was actually thinking about that for a bit. What would a Hazbin and Helluva video game look like if they actually made one?

Something in the style of an N64 or GameCube 3D Platformer Collect-a-thon game like Banjo Kazooie. You mentioned Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network games which made me instantly think of Battle for Bikini Bottom. Something akin to that would be interesting.

Someone said an action game for Helluva Boss. A 3rd person shooter where you can play as one of the 4 IMP members or a 5th “new employee” ALA the Ghostbusters video game would be cool.

For Hazbin Hotel, just make it a copycat of Persona or something like that, would play into the “redeeming” aspect.

If all else fails. Do a Shredder’s Revenge/River City Girls style pixel art beat em up.

I personally think the Hellaverse would lend itself well to a fighting game, considering how many quirky superpowered characters there are, and how much emphasis both shows have on combat:
- Vaggie resolves her identity crisis by letting Carmilla beat the shit out of her
- The entire Exorcist conflict is solved by just fighting them, and killing Adam himself
- The same goes for practically every conflict in Helluva, except like.. Mammon vs Fizz (but we're probably gonna see Mammon fight Ozzie eventually) and I.M.P vs Satan's Court. the show is supposed to be about assassins, so it makes a little more sense thematically, at least

Someone might as well make a Snoot Game parody VN of HH/HB where you have to help demons repent or kill targets with I.M.P. while weird royalty drama happens in the background. Would guarantee be better than anything we know about either shows already.

It's interesting that people think there could be options for video games aside from "graphic novel dating sim" where you make some basic bitch OC using either an imp aesthetic or baby's first sinner kit with dA-style dress-up mechanics and play homewrecker with everyone except Stolitz, which is of course the sacred cow ship of the fandom apparently.

It's like Dream Daddy but even gayer and somehow less aesthetic because everything Viv makes is drowning in six shades of red with two shades of white/grey, yellow and green, "attractive" character design be damned.

It's one goal, yes. And she wanted to be on a network so good job indeed. I do wonder how much of her stuff is catered towards that and how much she's been tard wrangled. I feel she's been sanitised at least, to become safer edgy than her older fujo stuff like the Zoophobia drafts.

I prefer studios like Flashgitz, who rejected a big network recently and keep their stuff gritty.

Flashgitz has a host of problems of their own, like not being very funny or having all their videos feel like they were made in 2011. In their case, not selling out isn't so they can preserve some deep message it's just so they don't have their audience calling them faggots.

I never saw the healthy appeal of mainstream YouTube funny guy animators, like FlashGitz and MeatCanyon. Though MeatCanyon got kinda better ever since they’ve started implementing some storytelling and more rational characters in their cartoons, I feel like these both channels exist solely to create cheap superficial skits or shock value content with no depth to it. Then you get a generation of people who think adult animation is just gross or dull comedies like Big Mouth or Sausage Party or commentaries on current socio-political events. I remember being the only one in my school who knew of the most insane shit I could find on Newgrounds and seing a group of peers giggling while watching Racist Mario. I mean, alright, I get it, Mario is a race-ist, you’re making motion tweened video game characters say no-no words and act pointlessly violent. Where’s the interesting part?

An open world HB game in the style of GTA or DAH! is the only way to go.

The more I think about it, the more it seems that the implication is that he was mostly eating non whites…what is he, racist?

Jokes aside, I hate when people insert their political opinions into things like this. Play your part, sign the autographs, and keep your trap shut. Nobody needs to know that your brain diverts to ‘kill whitey’ at the drop of a hat. Which is also odd because most people will consider Iranians white as well.

I was never as invested in this show as many of you were, but Alastor was probably the most interesting character to me personally. Oh well, RIP.

I don't believe either HH or HB will have the staying power of South Park, The Simpsons or Family Guy. But they don't have to. Shows end.

As for being edgy -- neither of them are. They stand safely on the shoulders of adult cartoon giants, in the center of the envelope and nowhere near its edge. If HH truly wanted to be edgy, the sinners would be dropping ethnic, racial and religious slurs like Blitzo drops f-bombs.
