Some of them vent, some of them post recovery tips, and some (many) of them depression circle jerk their way down the bowl to Hades. I think there's plenty of platforms for the first two and the last one should not exist, if not by free speech laws, or laws that prevent people from "helping" suicides, then from the obvious moral judgement that this is reprehensible and wrong. Like being a drug dealer or an arms dealer or a purveyor of monkey crush videos; I don't accept that consumer demand for this pro-suicide content justifies its existence.

^^ Maybe some people have heard of this case, the infamous "texting-suicide." Basically, this girl went to prison for manslaughter for "encouraging" her suicidal friend to go through with his plans. So... how is it that she is guilty of manslaughter for encouraging her BF to CTB, but doing this same thing online at SS is all hunky-dory? (Correct answer: it isn't hunky-dory, "helping" people commit suicide is a crime in many jurisdictions, and that is why Small routinely goes to insane lengths to cover his ass, which somehow, have not been that effective, not when NYT was investigating him and apparently not even here.)

Real question.

Why would I be scared of a journo? I've always had a "no talking to journalists" policy and just because a journalist shoves a phone or microphone in my face doesn't mean that will change.

My family is already well aware of what I do, and they don't really care. I haven't broken any laws, and the NYT story clearly highlights that I didn't. Furthermore, I haven't been involved in the site since December 2021. There are no current investigations into me by any law enforcement.

Thinking that you can change anything by harassing me is quite sad.

You will not get an interview with me. You'll just have to settle with using quotes from posts I have made here.
