Most jobs have background checks or do cursory level looks at who you are in the hiring process (not all of them advertise the fact they do this either). Also yes he can literally get a job working in a warehouse. I'm not claiming this is going to make him successful or a millionaire or even that he will realistically do this. My initial point was that he has irl consequences from these developments (not that he’s ever going to leave welfare) whether he can afford to keep payments up on his house etc.
