He's like those people who wait so long for prices to rise before selling their house that the market crashes and then they don't want to sell because they "won't get enough".

He hung onto SA too long to be able to sell it for a price which is worthwhile. At best, he could probably sell it for a price which will give him enough money to survive for a year or two until he finds a real job. He's not going to do that while SA provides him with enough income to live off without requiring him to put in 40 hours a week.

Ashli's anchor baby will probably be in the workforce before Lowtax ever gets a real job.

Another goon refugee here. I've been on SA a loooong fucking time, long enough to remember when everyone was still gargling Radium's balls ("THANKS TEAM BARRY!") and long enough to remember when The Something Awful Sycophant Squad found out that he used the same horribly insecure password for every single account he owned. And they did so mere hours after he forced users to make their passwords enormous, complex strings in lieu of actual account security. Naturally, it was no surprise when Lowtax revealed he was a fucking moron all along.

I was initially drawn to the site by the front page articles shitting all over bad movies, shitty video games, and unforgivable hentai games--along with the Photoshops. Eventually I got on the forum itself, where I enjoyed the irreverent comedy, the occasional doxing of weirdos who threatened Lowtax with legal action, and laughing at the assortment of local freaks like Bigpeeler (the final straw was when he entered a woman's home as a contractor and took a selfie of him wearing one of her bras as a hat).

Like most of the other Elder Goons, I found myself noticing more and more often that SocJus bullshit was starting to metastasize throughout the site, though the whole Social Justice Warrior ideology hadn't yet blossomed into the virulent disease that it is now. First there were debates over the word "faggot" even though there was a fucking Flash Tub series with that word in the title; animated by the Duke of Diapers himself. Soon the Cat Lady brigade began insisting that mockery of one woman means mocking ALL women, and Fistgrrl became notorious for stalking users onto offsite forums and banning them for wrongthink. There was a brief resurgence of funny when all the marxist shitheads moved into the LF treefort, but it wouldn't last. Within the last five years, the forum has been subjected to a long series of completely pozzed mods and admins.

D&D went from a forum where Communists could yell at Israeli Zionists and Catholic hardliners to a forum where people just endlessly posted cartoons and articles from conservative sites with captions that amounted to "LOL SO DUMB AM I RIGHT FELLAS!?" CSPAM was even worse, because they made Fishmech, a man who had once boasted an FTP server of goon porn (including one underage girl), a moderator. He proceeded to probate everyone who didn't agree with his very specific form of leftism, which pegged Bernie as a "fake socialist" and Hillary as the real-deal for some fucking reason (it's because she's a woman).

Anyway, I could go on for fucking hours about SA, but I'll close for now by saying that I'm really fucking bummed out about Lowtax's complete and utter lack of interest and competence when it comes to running this community that I used to love. Because of humorless faggots like Ralp and FAU trying to be the Comedy Police, I found myself more and more attracted to places like 4chan and Kiwifarms--where people don't have to run their fucking jokes past a committee to see if it offends anyone before posting it. And honestly, I've been lurking on the Farms and Chrischan/Lolcow funhouses for almost a decade now, so it's not exactly a big departure.

There is a disproportionate amount of women mods (both current and previous) when compared to the userbase. Going by that alone you would assume a good 75% of SA users are women, which everyone knows is bullshit. Also Axemaniac, who was a Games mod (I think) who had some kind of weird women-as-toilets fetish and hand-drew porn of women mutating into urinals and his Gary-Stu avatar pissing into their mouths while they squirmed helplessly. As I remember, he didn't even need to be doxxed, he posted it of his own accord as if that was a perfectly normal thing to do on the internet.

I'm not someone who'd stick up for a mod, believe me, but Axemanic was a huge Duke Nukem 3D fan, and I see that drawing as some kinda wacky edgy "fuck you" to anyone who thought Duke was too "sexist". I could be totally off base, though.

The really embarrassing thing was when he had his Duke Nukem Forever release party and actually hired someone to cosplay as Duke at his party.
