2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

"Stupid Russians, how can they say they're winning? We destroyed their city!"
Except Russia had the backing of the USA, the lands of Russia and millions of men behind it, while the germans were fighting a two front war with extended supply lines.

The Palestinans in Gaza only exist because the USA won't let the Israelis kill them all. Two very different things.

It's exactly the opposite, actually: Israel exists because the USA provides them with cover and would cease to exist if America decided to sit things out.

Israel had a blank check from the most powerful empire in human history for more than a year and they spent it on aimlessly blowing shit up, as if winning a war is decided by how many buildings you demolish or how many Stars of Remphan you dig into the ground with your bulldozers. They had an actual 80 IQ understanding of war. Netanyahu said he'd destroy Hamas and now he's negotiating with Hamas as they remain in control on the ground and are set to get back basically everything they wanted in the ceasefire, releasing thousands of "terrorists" and giving up all of his supposed "red lines" because Trump made it clear that he was putting the leash back on.

If Israel were actually an independent power instead of a totally dependent vassal Netanyahu would tell Trump to go fuck himself and keep fighting. The fact that he instantly folded like an accordion makes it abundantly clear who needs who in this relationship.

Guess they should have listened when Trump said "America First"!

The USA didn't get involved with Israel until the Yom Kippur war, get your facts straight

International relations is actually quite complicated and not like those autistic paradox games. The fact of the matter is that Trump also said that Gaza would not be run by Hamas and Hamas would not be allowed to be a terror group. I think what Trump wants is the photo op and they will allow Israel to go after Iran, and also go after Hamas. This isn't over.

Bro, every single one of trumps appointees loves Israel more than a groyper loves cock. These people are bigger Zionists than other Jews.
Not beating the genocide allegations with this kind of talk, Maori.
My patience has run out. They can either accept the little land they have left and live in peace or die. No other people gets the support they get, they have agency they don't have to be retarded. Besides its not a genocide because their population has actually increased during this war.

I hope you're right and this is what Trump and Bibi are planning. I'm really disheartened by this deal. Right now I feel like I've been stabbed in the back.

I literally didn't realize that it wasn't satire until I clicked on the thumbnail. Trannies and Arabs make satire redundant to the point that a simple, objective description of what they are like appears like the most unhinged bigotry to an uninformed outsider.

Can you maybe think of some difference between the the Soviet position after Stalingrad and the Hamas position after this war?

fuu trump for lying and forcing israel into this terrible deal.
I'm a major TDS sufferer, but I thought that this and trannies were going to be the two bright spots of a second Trump administration. God, I hope he at least gives us TTD.

If this ceasefire deal goes through, and the war ends under the conditions stipulated therein, then the war will have been a defeat for Israel.
Hamas has not been wholly eliminated, and as long as that is the case they will inevitably regroup and begin rebuilding their forces (a task which will be made easier by the release of 1,000 Palestinian prisoners stipulated in the deal). In addition, the war has been an utter PR disaster for Israel; anti-Israel rhetoric that was previously verboten has become normalized, 3 new European countries recognized a Palestinian state, the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Israel's prime minister, and Israeli soldiers now fear being arrested when traveling abroad.
If the war ends now, all Israel will have to show for it will be several hundred dead soldiers and a substantially worse reputation among the West.
All is not lost however. If the war has ended badly for Israel, it has ended worse for Iran; despite the best efforts of it's proxy Hamas, Israel continues to exist as a Jewish state. In addition, the war has severely weakened their proxy Hezbollah and (indirectly) resulted in the collapse of the Assad regime in Syria, a catastrophic loss for the "axis of resistance".
The war also cannot be said to be a clear victory for Hamas either.
Although worsening Israel's reputation abroad was likely a secondary goal of Hamas's attack, the primary purpose of October 7th was to prevent the normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia; although the Gaza war has temporarily scuttled those plans, Saudi Arabia remains open to the concept. If normalization does eventually go through, then Hamas (and Palestinian nationalism more generally) will be in a far more precarious position than they are now.
