I feel like this is a case like where other people look at America and think you can be shot on the street at random by cops just for being black, they only hear the incidents that make the news and think that's just daily life. I do not think that Chantal needs enticement to eat. We’ve seen her eats 2 big meals within 4 hours. I would bet that she eats constantly.
What journey does she imagine herself on? She's not losing weight. She's not going to have kids. She doesn't have any goals or endgame. She's not moving towards anything.
Because she knows she's on a tourist visa and will always eventually have to go back to Canada. Her fuck-Canada-forever plan is not secure and never has been.
