The Democrats have no leg to stand on but it is interesting to think about how much influence tech barons ("tech bros") have acquired in the Republican camp in just one election cycle through financing alone.

Time Is Running Out For President Joe Biden​

Joe Biden delivered his last official speech and he has but a handful of days left before he leaves the White House.

Like most Americans, I have Biden fatigue. He makes me angry and I wish he’d just stumble stiffly away and retire to a beach with his ice cream cone, but as a political cartoonist it’s my job to watch such spectacles. As I watched him prattle on, I became keenly aware of his shameless hypocrisy.



He claimed an ‘oligarchy’ of billionaires have way too much power and they could hurt our democracy. This was a howler considering he just gave a medal to one of the biggest billionaires and political meddlers out there, George Soros. As it turned out, Soros contributed a great deal to Biden. So did Bezos and Zuckerberg. The latter sent $400 million to make sure the election was stolen for Joe. Now that Trump is in office they’ve changed their allegiance and Joe considers them to be a danger and he wants them to ‘pay their fair share.’ (Whatever that is).

Biden complained that Facebook removed the left-biased fact checkers and now people will not be getting ’the truth.’ The truth is, Biden used his administration to bully Facebook into deleting the truth of his son’s laptop. Many conservatives were unceremoniously banned for no reason and we were among them. Only the left’s political talking points were allowed there.

Joe is leaving office on a low—his approval numbers are a dismal 37 percent whereas Trump’s numbers are at a high. There is a reason for this: Joe has repeatedly failed. He botched the Afghanistan withdrawal. His green energy and anti-oil policies were a disaster. He and his party spent ridiculous amounts of money and it caused rampant inflation. His open borders brought in millions of entitled criminals. His support for the useless war in Ukraine, which America should have no stake in, pushed Russia to threaten nuclear war. Meanwhile, he emasculated our military and forced dangerous Covid shots and lockdowns on Americans. The hair sniffer and children grabber advocated men in women’s sports and hosted a transsexual celebration on the White House lawn.



Joe Biden is a one-termer like Jimmy Carter. Only the Democrats still liked Carter. One suspects they despise Biden for dividing and ruining their chance at continued control. Joe promised to be a transitional, one-term president, but he lied. Of course he lied—he has lied all of his life. He’s an accomplished liar who now has dementia. Why would anyone be surprised that he wanted to hang on to his power? To this day he still thinks he would have defeated Trump again. That’s his narcissism talking, plus he’s out of touch with reality. Joe is a sadist who enjoys inflicting himself upon Americans to make them suffer. That may be his only success.

As cartoonists, Tina and were forced to draw Biden more often than we would have liked. We depend on the sale of signed books, calendars, and prints to pay the bills, but things began to slow down when Biden stole his way into office. The 2022 Biden Banana Republic calendar had slow sales. Nobody wanted to look at Biden for 12 months. The following year,2023, we used a circle and slash over his face and called it our ‘no Joe’ calendar. Sales picked up. Imagine that!

So there it is. We will not be drawing any more Joe Biden cartoons unless it’s critically necessary.

It wasn't just money, tech bros have a lot of assets that they can use to help or harm you. In 2020 we saw this with the coordinated suppression of Trump and the right wing on social media with fake fact checks, burying Hunter's laptop along with the other MANY issues Biden was facing from health, conduct, and policies and the rise of AI with a heavy left wing bias. Now that the wind is changing, they are using those same assets to help the conservatives as a way to help regain their credibility that they burned to the ground covering for dems, but also save them from the royal assfucking that Trump would likely want to inflict on them as revenge for 2020.

I think the reason there’s very few for sale is because a bunch of the tards who originally bought them probably don’t know the platform moved, or even how to sell if they read the fine print on opensea announcing the move , picrel attached]

Funny thing is, Chinese are very nouveau riche about it - they want to have carriers because every superpower has carriers, no matter how much of an useless money sink yachts carriers are in current realities of warfare. They are status symbols to them like gold chains are to rappers.

I keep hearing about this but I never understood the full train of logic. Why are carriers "useless" in modern naval battle? I keep hearing this about tanks too with all the Ukraine shit but both sides are still looking to get more and throw more tanks at problems on top of all the drones.

The important part of the carrier is that it can be an airbase in the ocean so you can use it as a logistical point, and then it also has its own hangar so it can deploy its own airwing with whatever you load in it, right? So they can have anti-submarine helicopters for submarines, and fighter-attacker planes, and small AWACS, and all those. Doesn't the development of modern and plausible near-future drones just means that more of the stuff in carriers are going to get automated and smaller so the same carriers can load more, or a smaller carrier can have the same amount of equipment in it?

No matter how good your drones are you're gonna need a way to ship them over the ocean...? Isn't aerial refueling a huge pain in the ass?
