I think my only problem with drones and people is that I'd run out of drones eventually. DC in particular would look like someone whacked a hornet's nest.

Well, there are two other problems. First, going to prison would impact my bank account. Second, I don't have a cool lair under a volcano. Or a white cat, for that matter. Oh, yeah, also I don't have the first clue as to how to fly a drone.

Let's be honest guys, we've put way more thought into bumping off the God-Emperor of Man then anyone who actually wants to has.

And to any Secret Service members who may be officially or unofficially watching this forum, we don't have the time, patience, money, or initiative to actually try this.

That does pose a problem. *sigh* and here I was hoping something interesting would happen at the inauguration besides sjws getting arrested for being idiots.

Or the desire. Trump is funny, and tweets back at least as much salt as he generates. Pence is not very funny.

I really don't want anything to happen to Trump, at least until he delivers the laughs. So, a couple of years at least.

I think some of the fear is more that some high ranking government conspiracy boogeyman is going to be backing any assassination attempt. Alex Jones posted a video discussing the possibility that the "globalists" will detonate a nuclear weapon during the inauguration just to wipe out Trump and anyone near him.

Progressive people from all over the country will be descending on Washington, D.C. on January 20, 2017 to stage a massive demonstration along Pennsylvania Avenue on Inauguration Day.

It is critically important that we keep building a larger grassroots movement against war, militarism, racism, anti-immigrant scapegoating and neoliberal capitalism’s assault against workers’ living standards and the environment.

Real social change comes from the bottom, the mobilized grassroots, and not from the centers of institutional power, the professional politicians or the capitalist elites.

This country needs a real political revolution. Millions of people feel entirely disenfranchised by a political system that delivered the least favorable and trusted candidates in U.S. history. Many hoped that the Bernie Sanders campaign would represent a new direction and opportunity to take on entrenched power and extreme inequality, for a higher minimum wage, to defend Social Security, rebuild the labor movement, provide universal health care and free tuition.

That campaign was largely suppressed, but its end does not change the desires and aspirations of tens of millions of people, workers and youth in particular, who are demanding real change. On Inauguration Day, thousands will be in the streets to give voice to the millions of people in this country who are demanding systemic change.

Donald Trump is a racist, sexist bigot. We believe that tens of thousands of progressive people will be in the streets on Inauguration Day and in the weeks and months afterward.

How one voted on election day is one thing, but even more important is whether we succeed in building a mass movement that can truly change the country, and the world.

Waiting for the same politicians who led to the rise of Trump to now stop him is a lost cause.

Will we let white supremacists, rape-culture sexists, and fascists celebrate hate in our city? Absolutely not. When these people gather to promote their truly deplorable ways, we will protest.

Members of the Alt Reich are having a fancy ball, taking a smarmy victory lap through our DC streets to celebrate their sexual assaulter in chief, Donald Trump. Some of their featured guests include:

• Milo Yiannopoulis, who waged the overtly sexist “gamergate” Twitter assault, and was banned from Twitter for his racist and sexist assault on Leslie Jones (from Ghostbusters)
• Mike Cernovich, who said date rape does not exist, made up stories about Hillary Clinton’s health, and also hates immigrants
• Lauren Southern (their token woman), a vocal transphobic anti-feminist
• And a host of BS artists and Fascist fake news purveyors connected to Breitbart, Infowars, Fox News, and the shadiest parts of the Republican party

We are outraged that this group, the worst of the worst, is being hosted by the National Press Club. These deplorables have demonstrated they care nothing for truth, will harass and abuse to get their way, and wait for Donald Trump to come down hard on immigrants, Muslims, people of color, women, and the left.

We must stand for a world of diversity and equity. We must stand for a world based on love and justice, not fear. We must stand for a celebration of each other's differences, not segregation and ignorance.

We must stand against racism, Islamophobia, sexism, and all forms of oppression. We call on people of conscience to protest and help send a message to the Trump Administration and his followers: We are better than this, and we will never accept this hate in our nation's capital.

In this opening to the inauguration there will likely be a large media presence with many cameras. We ask that protestors, do not under any circumstances initiate any violence, but protect one another and practice self-defense. Always try to have a buddy; a larger affinity group is even better. Stay in touch. Those who do not wish to be directly confrontational can keep their distance, and the rest of us can make sure the fascists don't get too close to our friends and comrades. Pay special attention to people of color and other targeted populations. If someone is getting targeted, get in the way. Be creative; think of what you can do that will ruin the enemy's evening, while protecting yourself and those around you.

This protest is being planned by the DC Anti-Fascist Coalition. We recently organized successful protests against the white supremacist "think tank” National Policy Institute. Our events drew about 500 activists and led the way for massive public outcry against the Fascist Alt-Right. Let’s repeat that, and open the Trump presidency on the proper foot.


The DC Anti-Fascist Coalition is an anti-racist, anti-fascist coalition; united along these principles:

We confront, and do not ignore, oppressors
We don’t rely on the cops or the courts. Cops reinforce oppressive systems. We rely on ourselves to protect ourselves and fight for deeper justice.
