A park service helicopter has been making the rounds between DC and the Trump golf course in Sterling during his party there. When not near the golf course, it's been flying along the Potomac or over major roads. (Based on what I've heard, this is normal since it minimizes noise for residents as they fly over.)

Tried to archive here but the image didn't carry over. The recent flight activity is at the bottom and it's made two flights tonight. From watching it live, I know the loops were done in opposite directions (i.e, it first went over the roads then the river, and then went the opposite way the second time).
Any plane or military spergs know why it makes the little loops, especially when it's over intersections?

can't remember much drama when he talked about it back then tbh, I figured it was just another threat to get a better deal on something.
besides it seems it's backfiring since zoomers are not moving to any US alternatives, but literally pick other chinese apps. I guess no one expected they rather go with some unknown chink app than facebook which their boomer parents use or gay insta.

Are people actually moving to other chicom apps in any meaningful number, or is it just another case of Bluesky where the astroturfed alternative is made to seem like its garnering a larger userbase than it actually is?

I suspect this is some attempt to quiet the recent speculation in the media that’s sprung up since Big Mike no-showed at Carter’s funeral, and won’t be attending the inauguration.

There have been rumblings that their marriage is in trouble, they’re headed for divorce, and live separate lives nowadays (the latter most I think is true to a point). I think it’s more likely that Big Mike has such deep contempt for Trump, that he can’t even bring himself to be in the same room with the man, or fake niceties at this point. That, and he probably hates being near politics/political rituals these days, preferring to instead be a socialite in Hawaii/the Vineyard/elsewhere in the world.

Maher was kind of fair/balance (for Maher at least).

It's still better than what John Oliver would have said as far as Oliver, if he wasn't still on break, pulling a Bill Burr and John Stewart did and calling any criticism of the DNC handling of the fire/fire services racist and homophobic and that we should shoot on sight anyone who says that any aid to California should be contingent on them actually doing shit to fix their fire problems.

The zoomers moving to Rednote and other chink apps are the gay kind of zoomers that are turned off by Instagram's Reels immediately throwing LiveLeak videos and GypsyCrusader reuploads at you.

How did the protests end up? I've been seeing a few videos in my recs about it yet, it doesn't seem like it went anywhere. Did any counterprotesters show up or was it basically just a few hundred people that stood around for a few hours, so the media could write up their typical fluff.

Supposedly, Big Mike went from being merely a racist to being a blatant anti-white black supremacist who can't even pretend to hide it anymore. So they keep him out of the limelight because there's only so many gaffes they can do with that until the goyim start to notice they really are being replaced.

Snoop Dogg, Soulja Boy perform at Trump inaugural Crypto Ball​

Rappers Snoop Dogg and Soulja Boy performed at incoming President Donald Trump's "Crypto Ball" that was thrown in Washington DC ahead of the inauguration. This is despite Snoop Dogg's cold treatment of Trump in social media videos in the past.

The two rappers were seen in videos posted to X, performing in front of celebrities and DC politicians including House Speaker Mike Johnson and others. Although Snoop has had a cold relationship with Trump before, after Trump pardoned Death Row Records co-founder Michael Harris, the rapper said, “I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,” per Billboard.

The event was attended by leaders in the cryptocurrency industry as well as celebrities for a pre-inaugural celebration before Trump returns to the White House. One attendee told Coin Desk, "Overall insane event with legacy Silicon Valley VCs in the room along with I would dare say 50/60% of global crypto investor and founder leadership in the room. Also a lot of policy makers with senior leadership like Mike Johnson."

Big names in the cryptocurrency industry such as Michael Saylor, Brian Armstrong, the Winklevoss brothers, and Jesse Powell were in attendance. Incoming officials for the Trump administration were also in attendance, including Trump's crypto czar David Sacks, who has been a supporter of Trump in the months leading up to the election.

The four-hour-long event was branded as an "exclusive social event" and ticket prices were advertised at $2,500 as well as $5,000 to attend. Outside, the press was barred from entering.

As Trump takes office, the cryptocurrency industry is in high spirits and optimistic about the future of policy in Washington DC that is more favorable for currencies like Bitcoin and others.
