I’m pretty open to the idea UFOs might exist but mostly just as an excuse to cover up top secret government projects but every reveal feels like an embarrassment to people who actually fully believe in this stuff and so far I haven’t been disproved in this.

What he is describing in terms of getting sensations from the Object sounds a lot like Kindling:
Kindling is a model of synaptic plasticity whereby repeated low-level electrical stimulation to a number of brain sites leads to permanent increases in seizure susceptibility. Stimulation that is initially subthreshold for subclinical seizure provocation comes, over time, to elicit full-blown motor seizures.

If the Object is emitting waves that can't be detected (Scalar waves?), it may be giving him a manic-depressive epileptic episode. People can experience both Positive and Negative emotions at the same time, which is very uncomfortable for the person experiencing it, as it is not usually experienced in normal brain functioning.

If someone experiences both Positive and Negative emotions at the same time it often feels like an experience of "transcendence".

He said sadness and awe at the same time. That sounds like a episode to me.

So not psionic in the Star Trek Deanna Troi sense, but more like his brain was being mildly stimulated.

Based on my count, I'd say that the sentiment on r/ufos is about 85% negative, 15% positive.

So they are trying to summon UFOs to catch them. And they caused a UFO vs. UFO dogfight :wow:

Summoning would be the only way to get to it first because you aren't going to have a better sensor network than NORAD.

They are NOT going to like that "Book of Matthew / Stay tuned to us" quote near the end.

NewsNation: Whistleblower reveals UAP retrieval program; object caught on video (archive) - Article version of the special.

The Egg UFO has pressure points where the 'rope' wraps around it. I can't imagine any flying craft doing that 🛸

Comments have explanations for this, but I mean when it looks this shit, ehhh

In after-show interview, Coulthart confirms the video is not from Barber.

its unfortunate but, NewsNation dude, dont forget, dogshit place that is fine with being mislead, they have no clout so this is their "thing" so they dont ask too many questions
but anyway, that footage could have been anything
it was night vision, far away, grainy, then his story to accompany it was just silly, this dude is way too far in to the woo
in the video the biggest suspicion point for me was that it was recovered from a US military test site
if there is going to be anything strange looking you could grift a video about thats where you will find it, and that egg was nothing
an egg also isnt a UFO, it wasnt flying in the video so in fact it was just a UO, an unidentified object which i suppose doesnt even need an acronym

UHO (Hanging), UDO (Dangling)

Coulthart: "Conga line of witnesses". Barber met with Marco Rubio's staff (detail I missed earlier).

This Reality Check was published a minute after the special ended. Audio seems fucked too! Too big for Preservetube btw.

did i just hear that right?
he believes that a "psionic asset" meditated, which summoned a UFO
and then there was a UFO fight in the sky...
.. and they just said Garry Nolan was there that night?! :story: what the fuck is going on? this is like the Grift Avengers
im telling you, this psychic/psionic angle to this is going to tank its credibility
edit:
a comment from Metabunk that summed it up pretty well
At the end of the broadcast just now they showed a totally unrelated daytime clip that looks like a bit like a nearby bug flying across the camera's frame of view, and Barber and Coulthart say it is the same thing as the egg thing, and Barber says that someone on his team was telepathically controlling it. They bring in Garry Nolan to get a clip of him in his Stanford lab saying that it seems like this did happen because he was there with Barber's team when they were doing the alleged telekinetic/telepathic UFO controlling exercise. I'm gonna have to rewatch this because there's so many claims made.
a quote from the interview, about the egg
taken from 4chan thread, i dont know if its word for word but if not it is close enough
this is something the new "whistleblower" said in the interview, and i have a feeling they wont be asking this guy to testify
> no something tuned in with me and into my soul, and providing me with some sense of guidance, and what to do, and how profound what i was doing was, and it was so profound i began to cry, and do i abort the mission?
> and so i focused on what i could do best and hooked up the load.
>once it was me and the object, between the pick and the drop site, i felt possessed by the most beautiful spirit i was ever possessed by, it was loving * tears *, it was also sadness, and it was a very feminine energy, it was the soul of god, like a frequency but not any male energy, it was feminine.
>its guiding me now and providing protection for me.
edit:
Greenstreet offers a suggestion, but it could be literally anything, that footage was dogshit
"This is a type of aerostat. A BLIMP. likely a tethered aerostat that is OFTEN retrieved by helicopters. They are deployed in remote or inaccessible areas where ground-based retrieval is impractical. Helicopters provide a mobile platform to approach and retrieve it. Helicopters allow for rapid deployment and retrieval in time-sensitive situations where it lowers the risk of dragging the surveillance equipment across rough terrain."

turns out the above came from this account first
this is the first deboooonk i have seen come in so far

I kept the AMA on until the end, though I got bored in the second or third hour and decided to get back into Stellaris, which I hadn't touched in a year or two. It turns out I was at war with religious cat people. We ended with a stalemate, but they're still going to win the game. Just because I'm too nice to send my Colossus into their space and fuck up their homeworld. I'm playing a xenophilic fungus, we wouldn't do that. Anyway, some disclosures from the interminable AMA:
  • Hal Putoff waves away the potentially deleterious biological effects of sudden acceleration with relativity magic. He prefers weird, off-the-wall stories to rational stories because he thinks they're more likely to be true. He says "forward-looking infrared radar" a couple times; I'm trying to figure out what that is. He's very excited about a polygrapher who hooked up plants and got responses from them and they are sentient, or participate in a sentience field. I don't even know where to begin on that one.* I think he does a lot of satisficing.
  • Nolan pre-copes ... even if UFOs aren't real, they get us thinking about how to build things like UFOs. He also thinks plasma could be sentient. I propose an experiment: We use a really powerful laser to convert his head into plasma. If he's still sentient after that, he can direct his floating plasma-head into a light bulb and live in it, blinking out messages in Morse code.
  • Kean believes nonverbal autistic people are telepathic. I wonder what they talk about in their silent, astral conversations? Trains? Sonic? And I think the host said she wrote a play and she's looking for a producer.
I completely forgot the "real" thing was coming later on NewsNation so I didn't watch it. I also forgot Metokur was streaming tonight and got in late. I'm about 15 minutes behind. He's not taking as many breaks as he used to. I hope that means his body is healing.

So the egg, I think, doesn't look like a detached UAV nose. I can't rule it out but it doesn't seem likely. Maybe it's a radiotransparent container to obscure prototype technology and protect it from weather? Since this was a test range, they wouldn't bother disguising it like a rock or something. They'd just chuck it out there and pick it up when they were done testing it.

* I could start with the moronic notion that any of the four channels on a polygraph are correlated to a physiological process within the plant the same way they are in humans, or the failure to consider the theory behind polygraphs and why that theory cannot be applied to plants, or point out that polygraphs are bullshit no matter what you hook them up to.

Edit:
The video has been AI upscaled, and it no longer looks like an aerostat to me.

this turned out to be a theme today, psychics and such

Now I'm thinking of this alleged info that did not make it into the special:
• Psionic Recruitment: Individuals with psionic abilities (extrasensory perception, telepathy, etc.) are recruited, often from marginalized communities. They are used to summon ET craft (using what sounds like CE5) and interface with recovered ET technology. This disproportionately includes Native Americans, left-handed people, and others with specific genetic traits. The operation Herrera witnessed in Indonesia was a recruitment operation, according to Barber.
Get me an autistic left-handed non-alcoholic Native shaman UFO summoner, stat.

* Why Barber is full of s*it, and how news nation tried to deceive you. From an Air Force Veteran perspective.. (archive)
* New Coulthart Interview Dropping Next Week With Col. John Blitch
* Working with Barber/Skywatcher: Fred Baker is a legend in AFSOC and with an unimpeachable reputation in the tier 1 SOF community. Super high character, solid dude. If Uncle Fred is in, I'm in.
Submission statement: some more context on the credibility of one of the men interviewed tonight working with Skywatcher and vouching for Jake Barber. There is a lot of info on Fred to be found on reddit and youtube, he goes by @ counting_coup_tactical on social media if anyone wants to look into him further.

The people psyching themselves up into believing that this TV special was going to leave everybody ontologically shitter shattered were delusional and have nobody to blame but themselves. The footage is what anybody with an IQ above room temperature expected it to be. I'm willing to accept that the footage shows what they say it does, but the reality is that ass tier night vision video of an egg shaped object being air dropped in the grass isn't going to move the needle.

Dermal separation, hair loss, and heart murmurs, in combination with euphoric epileptic symptoms, and strong emotional sensations from memory recall (epilepsy is in part corrupted memory formation, and he started crying the second he recalled the memory) is consistent with what I would expect from scalar wave exposure and orbital disruption.

Then Two More Weeks til whatever Elizondo is talking about.
He has to make sure Corbell is safe from Nancy Mace's hit squads first.

In my opinion, the only thing that's going to move the needle at this point is aliens descending from the skies and landing at a very high profile, high traffic area and coming out of the ship and making it known.

Nice "blimp." My inflatable, lighter-than-air craft also hit the ground and roll like a firm solid when being dropped, of course it needs to be cradled in a canvas harness why would it float above a helicopter? That's just crazy talk. The outer canvas was frozen solid from the atmosphere that's why it didn't bend or deflate haha

I suspect the best defense against this type of attack is practicing on the weekends with both disgust and arousal. Condition your brain to cope with dual conflicting emotions.

Let me tell you about faggotry.

Dr. Jim Segala on Scalar Energy

"We have actually used it to some extent"
