I initially wondered if Bob & Celeste may have purchased the second house but one would assume that they would pay the asking price... unless they're disgusted with him and bailed him out with a cheap offer they knew he would be forced to accept.
I highly doubt that Bob and Celeste bought that house. It's not unbelievable that someone (who probably doesn't even know who Cuckeita is) would buy it as a vacation/getaway home even with the Silent Hill bathroom.
Just to spare any waste of time researching on that track, the speculated possibility that the pending offer would be a Celeste-controlled LLC or trust was ruled out by
this post revealing the buyers to have been local nobodies, and any hypothetical possibility that even local nobodies could have been compensated to serve as straw buyers was more or less ruled out by a deeper dive into their social media in
this post with no direct connection to the Rekietas standing out. The latter possibility seems even more unlikely based on new recording activity, with only Nick & Kayla's deed and the buyers' mortgage recorded on January 9th with no conveyance back to the "real" end-buyer or second mortgage for a borrowed down payment or anything sneaky like that:
If anything this is a positive sign that Celeste may actually be tightening the purse strings when it comes to Nick's personal finances as many hoped she would, because the most economically rational thing for the family as a whole would have been for a Celeste-controlled entity to quietly buy the neighboring house without any public listing that'd only stigmatize its perceived value in any later listing, set that purchase at a formally appraised price commensurate with its as-is condition but still sufficient for Nick to pay off the foreclosed mortgage on the main house, hire contractors with Celeste's money to resolve the plumbing issues entirely in addition to various style updates, re-list and sell for the $450K+ it easily could have gotten in that improved condition (not to mention without the stigma of some transient woman's scattered belongings that would tend to turn away some buyers in that price range), and split the net profit with Nick and Kayla under a prior agreement designed to ensure enough of a return on investment to be worth Celeste's while yet also leaving enough of a spiff for Nick and Kayla to motivate them to go along with the plan in the first place. To
not have done exactly that would have been retarded unless Celeste has affirmatively put her foot down and told Nick that although she and Bob are happy to invest time and energy into helping with babysitting, driving, etc. to bail him out of fuckups in his personal life, they will not be bailing him out of fuckups in his financial life any longer and she effectively abandoned him to a preventable $70K+ loss just to prove the issue.
On the other hand, a simpler explanation could be that when Celeste contributed much (if not all) of the funds used for Nick's self-settled trust's purchase of the main house in 2018 there was some tacit understanding (if not a formal agreement) that Nick was going to keep the house free and clear, followed by his jeopardizing the house with the 2022 cash-out mortgage entirely behind her back, and when the main house went into default and pre-foreclosure notices he tried to keep hiding the secret mortgage from Celeste with a rushed sale of a whore-occupied shithole as-is at a huge loss. In that case the stupidity was solely his because simply swallowing his pride and involving Celeste early enough would have made him significantly more money and made her some money too, but he probably couldn't bear the ego bruise that would have come with the high likelihood that those damned Karen Farmers would have ferreted out any publicly recorded signs of mommy and daddy bailing him out. And in the end his scramble to prevent that mild and forgettable embarrassment was all for naught as his desperate gambit brought on the even greater humiliation of a foreclosure becoming the talk of the town proliferating well beyond the Farms to even Keemstar viewers of all people. Was going through all of
that just to hide an easily solvable problem from mommy and daddy really worth it?
