When Trump won the election and celebrated, 0 German media representatives got invited, but some right-wing/counterculture/dissident German social media personalities (like, young people who make videos critical of the government, not politicians) got invited and even met Trump
Also today for the inauguration, Argentinian President Javier Milei was there, but Chancellor Scholz did not get invited. But Tino Chrupalla, co-chairman of the AfD, was there.

The AfD should be representing German interests, going to America to suck up to Trump, who is openly hostile to the EU and Germany in particular, is extremely cucked.
Despite what NAFO cocksuckers may say, Europe and America are naturally opposed to each other. For Europe its completely natural to buy cheap resources from Russia, this whole Ukraine shit is American policy that has nothing to do with Europe. Who gives a shit? Meanwhile the American ally in Ankara is actively occupying northern Cyprus, which is actual EU soil. Iran too is a natural ally for Europe, because just like they once did the Ottomans they flank all those Sunni Arab shitholes which are traditional enemies of Europe. With global warming potential trade routes are opening up in the Arctic, Greenland is going to be one of the geopolitically most important countries of the 21st century. Europe wants it, America wants it and Trump is threatening to outright annex it.
Germans and Americans dont get along. Never did. Germans look down on Americans as backwards and ignorant. Americans waged two wars against Germany and in America a German accent is something to be ridiculed, while a French accent is seen as romantic and a British one as educated.
I guess what I want to say is that if you are American, never relax around the eternal Kraut.

There will be elections very soon, but it won't change much. Simply because the g*rman government and the scumfuck media are corrupt as fuck and lay every stone in front of the path of rationality. Humiliating them won't be enough.

Now that election mode is over, I'm not going to run guard for Trump. I think it's right to be skeptical/suspicious/tentative about the whole thing because last time he was ineffectual and didn't get much done and barely tried to overcome the stonewalling. But I am tentatively optimistic and hope that he'll accomplish what he says he will. June will be where I check in with myself and evaluate how I'll see the next four years. We'll know by June if he was serious about the mass deportations and the massive changes he plans to make to eliminate the last four years of nonsense.

In this case, the January 6th protestors the original poster proposed simply COULD NOT be let out of holding under any circumstances, because of how catastrophically bad it would be for the Democrats, because of how radicalized the protestors would be against them.
