Dunno, I despise government statistics. Government statistics and its consequences have been a disaster for economic thinking and policymaking.
You're implying people are failing to find employment while others are saying that people are working multiple jobs to make ends meet.
Something must be off here.
Some people being unable to find work while others having to work multiple jobs is not a contradiction. Also yes the government figures are wrong because they don't consider groups of people like those who've given up on finding work to be unemployed.

Tariffs do not achieve the goal of "supporting American jobs"
Trump plans to reduce taxes on companies that make their products domestically to encourage job creation in the States

What tariffs do is grant a quasi monopoly and, generally, a monopoly price on domestic firms.
Let's make things more tangible and say that the item in question is... toothbrushes. Let's say a toothbrush costs $10 to sell in the US, but a toothbrush made abroad and shipped to the US costs $8, okay? I'm thinking of toothbrushs as an example because they don't really have substitutes.
So, what tariffs do is injure the consumers within the toothbrush business, who are prevented from purchasing from more efficient competitors at a lower price.
Good. You should have to buy domestically and support American workers and companies over foreign companies.

The tariff principle is an attack on the market
Yes it is an attack on the market in the same way that regulations against rat poison and lead in food products are an attack on the market. Corpos cannot be trusted to have the interests of the country as their highest priority so they need to be regulated. The US is not an economic zone for companies to do whatever they want, it is a nation with a set of ideals like any other.

The full text of the Defending Women EO is fucking EDIFYING, it's so good.

Biological sex is back on the menu, girls.
I’m an hour behind and doing my best, but the text here is really impressive. They must’ve deliberated over the wording for ages. It sums up the problem with gender ideology as a basis for policy (or anything really) quite neatly and it’s very satisfying to see it written out.

That’s because she wasn’t referring to Eskimos since Eskimos and Inuit aren’t native to America they came over the strait relatively recently and have constantly been at odds with native groups due to the limited resources in the snowy hellholes they choose to live in and the actual Alaskan natives have never stopped hating the Eskimos and if they could would throw each and every one of them into the frigid depths of the Artic Ocean.
I don't know where you read that crazy shit but Indians, or as some people say "Native Americans," if they live in Canada or Alaska, those are eskimos. Live in igloos, ride dogsleds, petting walruses. Doesn't matter if it's 5 feet north of the Minnesota border or outside Anchorage city limits.

Check out Canada's next Prime Minister. You maple niggers are fucked.

This bitch ran from her position of Minister of Finance after the deficit ran up to $62 billion. Pierre's gonna win - he was Prime Minister Steven Harper's protege, so at the very least we'll see the economy turn around and become unfucked.

He isn't based enough to enact TTD or that shit, but we Canadians have some light at the end of the tunnel here, too

Yeah, but Canada is Parliamentary and the Jeet Party hasn't left the Liberal Coalition. Trudeau just stepped down as party leader. Which means if Freeland becomes Party Leader, she's Prime Minister. There won't be an election.
The only way that happens is if the Liberals are that desperate to say they got another female PM in office, which they aren't. Her shitty track record would do them no favors in a time they desperately need good publicity.
