Bigot Brigade Something Awful and Friends - The roller-coaster train-wreck embarrassing downfall of a Web 1.0 giant and its tick offspring like from Cloverfield

"If you don't want to ask an honest question or read an honest answer get out" is a strange thing to say given the recently adopted "we're not here to bear the burden of educating white folk about their privilege/racism, go use google" stance.

Also fucking lol:

Haha, so, because we're all deep in this shit I just want to step back for some perspective on the name Negrotown.

In order to understand why a forum for PoC is called Negrotown, first you have to know that Key and Peele, a comedy duo, made a satirical video about a magically segregated land called Negrotown. I am not a master of jokes, but based on what I know of Key and Peele they are not, in fact, in favor of segregating the races--the joke of the skit, beside the obvious jokes, is that the real world should be racially tolerant without black people having to escape to fantasy, even if the fantasy at times is a welcome cushion against the realities of being black in America. Key and Peele are notably actually black and from America.

From there a known lunatic named gfsincere/negromancer chose to title the thread he was banished to for being a known lunatic Negrotown. I have no idea why he did this except to be deliberately provocative, because despite linking the comedy sketch in the OP a) no one clicks all those links and videos b) Key and Peele do not have the cultural permeation for people to instantly recognize the reference or the comedic style it was produced in.

Negrotown, being a thread for lunatics regardless of race, immediately descends into madness. Everyone hates it and it incubates awful posters like a festering wound.

Lowtax finds out about this, and spends a few days soaking in a wine and Ambien laden coma before rousing himself to resp9nd to accusations he is a racist. In order to not look racist, he decides to give the lunatics their own forum, humbly titled after the thread they enjoy so much: Negrotown.

To understand why Lowtax made a forum for blacks only you named Negrotown have to be intimately familiar with the intricacies of all the drama that's been going on the last ten days. Absolutely no one outside of KF or SA has any reason to know any of that.

So imagine what anyone else thinks when they come to a forum with a special forum called Negrotown, JUST FOR BLACK PEOPLE.

Or just search Negrotown on Twitter as demonstrated above.

If only Lowtax had been able to wait until the morning of one the days his kids are in school so he has literally no responsibilities for hours to roll out a controversial forum instead of letting it turn into Stormfront: the Dark Clouds.

I am very glad he didn't!

Gosh I sure hope there aren't any goons reading this that might tell Lowtax that one of his 'good' mods is dumpstering the fuck out of him behind his back.
That is actually one of the more sensible responses to the whole thing, though, "I am unsympathetic but I don't plan on leaving because LP is fine and probably won't be affected, lowtax would have to do something really bad for me to leave".

No he is clearly stirring up drama against Lowtax and Lowtax should briefly skim over these caps and then react strongly to it.

I actually think the Negrotown thing is being blown out of proportion though I do agree that it's a bad choice to start it up right now. It's not actually segregating the black posters because theyre welcome to post wherever they want to in the forum, nobody is making them post there and telling them they can only post there. It's just a space that they can post if they want to, where other black people are going to be a majority. It's kind of like the lady thread.

Its kind of a shame that it's gonna be the thing that gets the most attention because of all the virtue signaling that goes on around race, because that always makes it worse.

"Black people can sit anywhere on the bus, actually, if there are no white people in the seats ahead of them. I really don't see why it's so bad to have a special section on the back of the bus they can choose to sit in if they want to be among their own kind."

Welcome to the ching Chong forums where Asain posters can discuss starcraft, Honda hatchbacks, and crippling abusive parenting. Finally, a space where you can discuss buffet management of strip mall cafes and your hatred of blacks.

There is like.. what? 2 black SA posters. And the female thread was all MTFS and dudes.
