Goddamn, I popped off the farms early, figuring this thread would just devolve into a lotta back and forth on when he'd start making the first moves on actual meaningful things, expecting the first batch of EO's to just be boilerplate nothingburgers. Instead, I come back this morning to the Gulf of America, total narco death, total tranny death, and generally just great fucking shit. Makes me want my slice of Canada to secede over all the more.

That's basically how it felt for us back in December '23, when Milei took office. The first few days were beyond surreal, he started cleaning house IMMEDIATELY. The nay-sayers thinking that he was all bark and no bite including myself had to eat our own words. We still have a long way to go, but the way he flipped our economy around, in just a year, is nothing short of mind-boggling. The autistic, yid-LARPing, crazy hair Economics teacher actually pulled it off.

Welcome aboard, fren!

how nice of europeans to roll into the thread in the middle of the night after wasting my tax money on endless social programs and month-long holidays to whine about America having a president that puts Americans first instead of leeches from other countries

get in the crystal, faggots. your souls will power our industry for years to come

Stuart Scheller, that one Marine lieutenant-colonel who got fired and whose life got ruined (wife left him, etc.) years ago for very publicly challenging the Biden regime's policies & accountability (or lack thereof) re: the Afghanistan debacle, will now be joining Trump's Defense Department as a senior advisor. (Archive) Scheller is the second prominent ex-military man drummed out by Biden who's returning under Trump, following former Air/Space Force LTC Matthew Lohmeier who's becoming his Under-Secretary of the Air Force; previously sacked for being a loud critic of DEI in the military while his boss Charles Q. Brown (later Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff) was one of the most ardent promoters of it and affirmative action specifically, Lohmeier remained higher-profile than Scheller and besides doing more media appearances in general, I've found he seems to be the #2 guy at a conservative military organization called 'Stand Together Against Racism and Radicalism in the Services' (STARRS). (Archive)

Make the US military into the world's greatest war machine again, and this time with a more sensible target much closer to home in the cartels.

"Punk" as a culture was very corporatized from the beginning with people like Bernie Rhodes who pushed The Clash. Bands like The Ramones didn't think about their label - they just did what they wanted - and punk died by the early 80's due to the "corporate" stereotype. Then there was a slow revival from 80-81 with anarcho-punk which expressly rejected the music industry; followed by a major punk revival in 82 with bands like Blitz in the UK. The DIY ethos really solidified in the early 80's.

The Nazi shit was mostly the result of people who liked the tough fashion. Rock Against Communism (RAC) sprouted in the 80's and made a lot of people money because it attracted dumbasses who would buy lots of beer, throw money at shitty bands screaming "nigger," and small venues didn't care so long as they got their cut. Most OG punks from the late 70's/early 80's moved on to progressions within the movement (thrash music and metal, for example, as well as speed metal) or grew up altogether and moved on with their lives.
So, basically punk started from rebellious teens that appropriated whatever culture that "looked cool" without knowing its historical lore/content. Rebellious being disruptive, obnoxious, anarchists. @Syaoran Li could confirm if he wants. How embarrassing that they're not aware that they're part of the system they are supposedly against.

1500 hundred of his most retarded supporters who fell for a Fed honeypot to give the Uniparty the exact bait needed to remove the threat of Trump forever. Pardoning them was the trap, and we'd have Kamala Harris or Nikki Haley in Office now if he had.
Instead it played out perfectly for Trump. He told reporters last night "they have already served enough time for what they did".

1500 Trump supporters are going to proudly say that their pardon is an admission of guilt just like the ones Biden signed for his family and cronies.

Then it's all going to go to the Supreme Court as a giant tangled mess.

Maduro and his cronies ought to be very, VERY afraid.

With any luck the glowies will get moved out of out of Eastern Europe and Banderaland and switch to trying to destabilize South America and a War On Drugs pt2.

A few will get captured, skinned, chopped up and/or ghost rider'd I mean man the things those cartels do to each other out of friendly competition just wait until its an actual gringo from Langley. Clean streets, state side though. Worth it.

It'd still be a lot more effective than you'd think. A lotta dumb kids get into it because they see it as the path to riches outta shitty do-nothing slumtowns, and the drug lords take advantage of those kids. But when the drug lords mansion is on fire and some narco truck is getting jdam'd every other week, those people are going to dry up. And its a huge blow to their profile and prestige to be dying and having their shit burning down every time they surface. Yea, you could be an underground drug lord and never use the wealth, never show yourself in public, and never benefit from the power your theoretically accumulating, but I'd imagine there's far fewer people willing to do that, and far less bloodthirsty ones at that.

Just because you can't kill all the cockroaches, doesn't mean its not worth it to kill the ones that keep coming out and causing trouble.
The problem is that you'll either need to blow up a lot of criminals and let El Diablo sort out the civilians, and go full Duce on them on foreign soil, or you need a lot of very good intel and supportive latam government who helps to chopper them.

That's before we get to how they would try to go full fedpost on judges, military leaders, etc. You would need to secure the border and deport them first.

It is a bandaid that needs to be stripped off, but it will cost half of your face.

I am not saying its impossible, nor even that it isn't worth doing. But it is going to hurt, the narcos are absolutely brutal. It isn't a 70s hollywood movie about goodboi dindu nuffins just wanting cash.

You can blow up mansions, but they are in the jungle. A new Boss will just rise, some are bred and born psychos who beheaded their way to the top.

These jungle compounds are hard to find, especially if you don't want to waste bombs on regular farmers and injuns hunting monkeys.

It would be an unholy crossover of Gaza+Vietnam.

For some reason, i have 0 idea why. They think the cartels are somehow immune to being actually cracked down on. Not because, they do super villain plans or high level shit. Just the fact they maintain control by just killing anyone in Mexico who speaks out against them and buy off corrupt as fuck officials. Under new this new order, who the fuck are they going to buy off? It would be political suicide to do deals with the Cartels right now. It is fear control that they bank on. They are just the Crips in terms of how the gang is run. A street gang. You start freezing their assets, and using military tech to mince entire rooms of them. They will fold like paper. There is no one to retaliate against when it is another state doing it to you. I am sure they will do low level shit and take Mexican citizen hostages and demand an end to the drone strikes. But lol LMAO good fucking luck getting stone heart Trump to bleed over it.

in one of harry turtledove's alternate history series, the USA conquers canada in WW1, george custer (who didnt die at little bighorn) is appointed military governor of canada, and a leaf tries to assassinate him with a bomb thrown into his car. custer catches the bomb and throws it right back at the guy and blows him up, it was so ridiculous and funny and awesome

seeing turtledove's tds on twitter made me really honestly sad

So, when are the MAGA Death Squads reactivated? As I recall, millions of minorities and women were forced in to those peculiar Immigrant Detention Centers with large group showers that not very many at all were liberated from.
Project 2026. It’s going to be the Holocaust on steroids (if it actually happened)

It was done before, it can be done again. He needs someone to go full Cesare Mori.

He was single-handedly responsible for wiping out the Italian mafia from Italy and scurrying their way up to the US, basically that's how the Italian-American mafia got their foothold over there - and conversely, the US Army used the exiled Italian mobsters for intel on how to access Italy, thus restoring the mobsters back to their turf once again. Many Italian people absolutely HATED the US Army for it.

This is taking too much credit maybe, but I feel Milei going scorched earth politically from the get-go was such a shock to the opposition that it destroyed any counter-push to his policies inmediately, and it's the same thing Trump is doing now. I think Trump took notice of how effective it was.
