Never in my life did I think I'd hear IEP dropped on Kiwi Farms, but here we are. This website is full of surprises and literally everyone from every facet life has to offer, so of course some people probably had these, considering how autistic this place is.

For those who don't know, IEP stands for Individualized Education Program. It's there primarily for the kids who fall under the special needs umbrella, but isn't limited to disabilities. It also takes into account behavioral problems and socialization issues.

The type of especially vulnerable kids that the DOE could prey on to push their bullshit.

It does follow you into adulthood, though, for college.

well then i have no idea why you say you have an IEP. IEPs are for children in school. you're a grown adult. also, nothing is stopping states from continuing to offer IEP programs for students that need them.

I haven't been in school in many years, but IEP from my experience was just a thing given to delinquents so the school wasn't caught "doing nothing" about unruly teenagers. This usually meant they spent the bare minimum amount of time on school property, allowing them the time necessary to become worthless burn-outs, drug addicts and gang members.
