Linus Gabriel Sebastian & Linus Media Group / Linus Tech Tips - Narcissistic corporate shill YouTuber driving his media empire into the ground. KILL COUNT: 2

The funniest thing is that Linus is such a dumb fuck that he must have seriously thought that someone as fastidious as GN Steve is wouldn't have receipts to back him up.
"I dare you to post those chats"
*Posts the chats*
"WTF HOW DARE YOU BREAK OUR TRUST AND POST THEM CHATS!!!!"
Is the next thing he says.
I bet he is going to go with the friend betrayal victim narrative. Like all the leaf libshit cucks do.
HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN ME.
He failed to big dog him, so that will be his next narcissistic outburst.

I see Linus still using his hard-r in his texts with Steve.

Tech Jesus splitting off the advocacy/drama to a separate channel is welcome. I stopped watching the channel regularly after the Newegg stuff.

Hardware Unboxed splitting off their monitor reviews seems to have worked well for them. A buddy of mine who does videos on a couple of niche topics ended up splitting his stuff into two separate channels for viewership/algorithm reasons

I bet you wont post them chats Steve. I bet you are intimidated by my subscriber number on Youtube and my 5 seconds of fame on Jimmy Kimmel, where they clearly did not even remember who i was and was treating me like a dancing monkey.

Haven't seen this in the thread Louis Rossmanm is vague posting about the Linus thing. And in case you're too autistic to figure who rossman is vague posting about:
Not the first time he's commented about narcissistic personality disorder around some Linus drama:
Rossman is literally my favorite Jew. He can get talking head/ranty sometimes, but I generally agree with a lot of what he's put out there.

While I agree that Linus is a faggot and that he's ego and narcisism is as high as the Elon Musk one, he's not entirely wrong about Steve not giving him a right to reply(as Steve gave the right to reply to Asus, NewEgg and more) and that the honey drama surrounding Linus was exaggerated.
Right to Reply simply doesn't even apply in this case as Steve wasn't reporting on anything
Are you guys talking about "request for comment" or is "right to reply" something different? The idea behind a request for comment isn't required to be fair/ethical. But it is considered good practice. Then again, looking at the pieces GN has done where they didn't request a comment, it looks like they generally lacked faith in the vendor and didn't want to have some generic bullshit statement that other news orgs just kinda tack onto the end. It does give him a chance to do a full rebuttal to public statements.

GN just posted weekly news.
I stopped watching LTT years ago during all the face-diaper virtue signaling. The final straw was Linus giving medical advice ('Uncle Gates said to get the vax' or some cringe BS like that).

I hope Steve/GN never gets his own thread. So far I think he's stayed out of a lot of the mud, and he seems to think pretty heavily before replying and knows when to speak and when not to respond. He also seems to be good at admitting errors/corrections. I hope he never becomes a tech-cow.

I hope he never becomes a tech-cow.
Already was, just look at his rants about how manufacturers should advertise their fans based on degrees above absolute zero, rather than something more reasonable (room temperature, which is presumably what most of them do whenever they aren't just making these numbers up because that also provides the biggest numbers in terms of percentage improvement).

He's just not autistic enough to actually be funny. Even CWC, who is never funny on purpose, is still often funny by accident. Gamersnexus just... isn't. He'll drone through his script, present data, and generally be a fastidious reviewer, but he's never actually funny.

A podcast with Wendell and Gamersnexus might be funny, though. Wendell is a textbook case of Aspergers, and I'm sure he could bounce well off Gamersnexus.

We also allege that there were derogatory comments made by Linus Sebastian in a conversation with Steve Burke on a private phone call on August 31, 2021 at 7:31 PM Eastern lasting 9m 43s, where Sebastian referred to Burke as being “less autistic than you used to be;”
If you can remember the exact date, time, duration, and content of a phone call made three and a half years ago, I hate to break it to you...

Realistically, he probably just went through his call log, I highly doubt he talks to Linus over the phone that often.

Practically, I doubt Steve himself would deny his puzzle pieces.

They can just, you know, not watch it. Just don't click on the video. It's not hard.
unfortunately, youtube is basically cable tv now, and if the retards who expect cable tv get a youtube channel with diverse topics, they will be upset. them being upset can actually manifest into less engagement, less proliferation in the algorithim, etc. you can say it's gay to care about that, but steve is trying to run what is basically a consumer rights/tech education platform, which would be useless with no one to watch it. i don't know what running a large youtube channel is like, but if steve thinks the confusion is significant enough to fully separate it, i'm willing to believe he probably has a good reason to.

I don't quite get the bitching about drama and investigations and whatnot being on the main channel.

They can also say they don't like it in the hopes that their feedback will affect GN's output.

I totally understand why GN is doing it I just like bitching about the general public and their lack of adaptability.
