Sam Hyde

you don't believe that.
No I do believe that; gas station jeets are much worse than Streetshitawamy. There are tons of them where I live, and they uniformly smell like absolute shit and will steal every damn pen out of the office supply locker if you don't hide the key. Vivek Pajeetarooni brings his own Cross pen and dumps a gallon of cologne on himself every morning so you can't smell the curry he had last night. There's a difference in class, which makes up for the caste they pretended to leave behind in India a generation or two ago.

Of course illegal immigrants are a big deal. Most illegals aren't stealing top coding and engineering jobs (and doing them badly) and practicing medicine with a substandard education (and doing it badly) though, those are the H1B fuckers. Plus they started using H1Bs to import trash workers too, like carnival workers and pickers, and giving them and their illiterate families green cards and gibs. Prior to 1990, that wouldn't have been allowed.

It also bears noting that a good number of "American" pajeets got their start in Canada before emigrating here. There's hordes of ex-Canadian pajeets. They're really hard to sort out from the pre-90s ones because they speak good English, but they're often Communist scum as well, and would definitely complain about Apu.

Saar, you need to read all four of my books before I have the conversation with you. You must write the essay about my book "Why I shit in the street and your children will fail in the life." Saar, you must do these things before I make the good faith debating with you. SAAR, YOU MUST NOT REDEEM!
Is this why he was kicked out of DOGE? Did he keep rejecting applicants because they wouldn't buy his books?

Quick reminder, Sam Hyde said he was glad David Lynch is dead and that he hated all his films

people are responding to david lynch's death in the same way they did when robin williams killed himself except david lynch was 80 years old and put out a public statement a year ago that he was dying of emphysema. the public response to his death has been some of the most embarassing kumbuya bullshit i've seen in years, of course sam is going to troll them by saying david lynch sucked. these people would hang you if you told them dune sucked as a film.

David Lynch made some good films but he's really babby's first "weird auteur" who film school kids would gravitate to after their Tarintino or Boondock Saints (lol) phase. He was a Hollyweird darling whose vision used a lot of watered down French New Wave and German Expressionist concepts.

I'm not surprised if Sam hated him because people who were HUGE fans of him were probably the most annoying art school RISD kids who say trite basic bitch shit like "well i think the city the movie takes place in is the REAL main character."

except unlike french art house cinema and old german expressionist films david lynch actually creates a watchable product that stands on its own beyond novelty. if french art house cinema produced movies on the same level as eraserhead you would be able to name them. if there's one thing i really understand about sam its that i also attended film school and having the same understanding of celebrated works of art as the people posturing themselves as "studied" just makes you realize how fucking stupid they are. it's is just a dick waving contest over obscure records.

i think its werner herzog that said that the best thing to do is to not "watch films". if you watch a movie because it looks cool then you're engaging with the film and directors vision itself but if you're just watching films because you want to engage with the notion that you're a part of something bigger you have failed because movies don't do that.

Well that's the thing, really. Lynch is entry level to snobbery but also mainstream enough to have An Opinion about for RIPposting and looking "cultured."

Remember thanks to internet, film study has been watered down to such an extent that Christopher Nolan is now considered by zoomers to be an auteur and "media literacy" is a thing now. I would hate to be a film professor like that one guy who talked about something Sam submitted for a class in a video and deal with kids who want to make "adult cartoons," think the 1980s consisted of John Carpenter soundtracks and want to purposely create trashy "bad" movies on purpose for irony.

that lesbian scene in Mulholland Drive is more kino than anything sam hyde has ever made. i think david lynch is just one of the few people who was able to be shocking, yet apolitical and make shit that people wanted to watch for like 30 straight years. also, he loved guns.

in dune (one of his worst movies) baron harkonen raping and killing the twink with the little flower pot wasn't meant to be anything more than uncomfortable and upsetting gay sex. sam admits he was heavily inspired by tim and eric and they were inspired heavily by lynch, so by the transitive property...

this reminds me of when someone brought up DFW and sam had to like make up a vague reason to justify his hatred of a guy whose work he had never read because of this weird "sensitive guy" trope he made up in his head that has nothing to do with wallace or his work.

i distinctly recall sam straight up lampshading the accusation of even having anything to do with tim and eric by saying "dude we're both clearly influenced by *guy*" and the guy he name drops was some obscure youtube channel from 2003 that is very very obviously the progenitor to that style of editing. i can't remember anything about it enough to find it. at the same time though, that shit was just as much a play on a specific era of MTV. i've always thought it was curious people give credit to tim and eric for that style of editing when it was, you know... MTV that came up with it. max headroom was a thing.

This is what annoys me about Sam the most. Whether or not he's right about things like this, his justifications are just plain retarded. Going back the the breaking bad shit, he hates the show cause he saw Indian sigma pill edits. That is brain dead reasoning and he does it for many many other things.

that isn't a justification, that's just an emotion. the entire show rides on the assumption the viewer will relate to walter and that subtext has increasingly washed away with time. shows have a shelf life and breaking bad is so far past it that indians with no shared cultural basis of understanding see it as an example of a man being badass and failing instead of a story about a pathetic dying man lashing out before he expires

he explicitly says that t&e were a big influence which is obvious and fine. But the creepy, weird staging, especially with that actor they used who was in Fargo was credited as “lynchian” by t&e and for the same vibe as some of the more memorable world peace sketches. It doesn’t matter if Sam credits them or not really, but it’s much gayer if he pretends that it wasn’t them or lynch and is instead some no name YouTube faggot. Sam had always been a stingy Jew about crediting people anyways.

of course sam is going to troll them by saying david lynch sucked.
Sammy the rapist said he hated David Lynch films a decade ago dumbass. Sam knows as much about good art as your average indian
nd want to purposely create trashy "bad" movies on purpose for irony.
who's thread do you think you're commenting on?
that isn't a justification, that's just an emotion
tell that to sam
Sam had always been a stingy Jew about crediting people anyways.
nah, sam is ok with jews. start calling him a stingy indian. Can't wait for Alex schulz to get burned by him honestly

Nah, I don't care about Sammy boy either way but:

Mullholland Drive sucks a bag of nigger dicks, and I like almost everything else Lynch has done.

DFW was mid at best, pseudo-intellectual at worst and I say this as someone who's read almost all of his books. I find him amusing, but he deserves all the mockery he gets.

Not sure if this local archive is from the imperfect Sam's X video original/third party YouTube upload (with the audio problems in the first call) or from Sam Hyde's official, fixed YouTube upload, so I'll provide a local archive of the latter, made from the PreserveTube copy:
