Yeah, it's definitely a troll video of some description. I don't know what the point of the video is, but my only guess is it was made to poke fun at the BigBoiGames video for some reason.

Also, I really need to remember to PreserveTube these things when I post them. Downloading them locally to reupload here is a pain with most of those yt2mp4 sites being trash. Thank you for covering the archival for me, I'll be sure to archive any videos I post in the future.

Had some trannies spazzing out in chat today during a round of cashworks. Trump = Hitler, wish Trump would get shot again and all that. I actually saw this in my recommended feed in December and after watching it I really do think this is meant to be some sort of jab towards BigBoiGames' Emporium video making fun of how 'nonsensical' it sounds, especially from how he uses that random segment from the original video about BlueNES making a new Emporium for the 'working class'. He probably was too scared to post a serious response video on his main channel after seeing the reaction of his shitty TF2 conservatism video so he just did this but it's not really worth caring about.

Really tired of seeing all these faggot TF2 lapdogs spewing all this Pro TF2 Emporium shit everywhere not realising how fucked up their masters are. First it was Kaluka making that god awful TF2 Discourse video and having the segment sarcastically calling the TF2 Emporium something along the lines of an 'evil cabal of workshoppers ruining the game' and now it seems like there's more and more of a vocal crowd of Pro Emporium and anti quickplay niggas in the TF2 sphere.

Kaluka is a member of the TF2 Emporium discord server btw and the thing about this nigga is that he doesn't know when to move on from something and will continue whining about a topic for weeks on end especially on his Twitter.

Dewill still seems like he's going to drop that video talking about the TF2 Emporium, MYM and Zesty Jesus titled originally titled something along the lines of 'What I learned from being a TF2ber for a decade' under a different name of 'We Did Good Enough, Guys -Message to the TF2 Community'

The script for the video is still there and has gone through some changes recently. He's still planning to use the 'Back to Fort' song for something though, maybe for the video he's teasing?

I don't believe that full Korean spergfest video was the actual video and only seems to be apart of a series for his channel so we can expect to see more of whatever the fuck was that last video.

I'm really interested to see how this meltdown saga will go and if Dewill really is going to kill himself at the end of the month but now with all of his tweets and videos we could make a DEWILL lolcow thread just to have all this info in a single post or two. Something else I noticed that was really weird is how he keeps on harping on about 'gigachadism' and even in the livestream with Swipez (Preservetube link) he repeatedly sucks Swipez off at the start and calls him a gigachad. He's just obsessed with the word for whatever reason and I can't wait to see how the rest of this unfolds.

One last thing I wanna bring up is Soylarlight's 'Truthnvke' that Soylarlight teased at the end of his last video about the caber.

This tweet starts off with a sarcastic remark about TF2 before claiming that the premise of comp is to 'have fun with 5 friends and have laughs with each other' while also saying that Youtubers say competitive is bad. I don't know what planet Soylarlight is living on to come to these conclusions but it's just another tweet showcasing his TF2 competitive agenda.

There are probably are few other tweets I could've mentioned from him but these were just the ones I found to be the most important and revealing about his 'truthnvke'.
Safe to say that February is going to be one of the most chaotic months for TF2 discourse in a long time.

I'm not sure why people keep bringing up Overwatch when talking about MyM, when I firmly believe it to be obvious they were copying their CS:GO format:
- Both's casual gamemodes have rules less strict than comp
- Both of the game's casual gamemodes have 2x as much people per team than comp (12 vs 6, 10 vs 5 respectively)
- Casual being a form of gateway to competitive
- Probably a lot more that I can't think of on the spot.

Valve saw how well CS:GO worked out in the end and so they lazily slapped it's matchmaking systems into TF2, hoping it'll do the same.

It may have started out that way, but by the time MYM released it was definitely in response to Overwatch. The timing is too coincidental and comparisons were being made with some citing Overwatch as a direct competitor to TF2.

I think it's safe to say that during the making of MYM it was initially regulated to Competitive mode (c. Tough Break), but when Overwatch released in May 2016 they hastily glued together Casual mode (stripped directly from Competitive) out of fear of the "TF2 killer" and pushed the update two months later in July to keep up.

...or perhaps I'll be proven wrong in Zesty's belated MYM video. We'll see.

I recall one guy (I dont remember who exactly) made an interesting point about Gabe Newell's (and Valve's) obsession with Blizzard:

- Gabe Newell used to be a big WoW nerd back in a day
- He mentioned Blizzard as Valve's competitor in some interviews
- Valve bought up IceFrog which previously worked on Warcraft 3 DoTA to work on Dota 2 which later became a massive success
- MYM attempts to "modernize" TF2 in 2016 seems really out of the blue, when game functioned completely fine for years. Since Overwatch got released in the same year, its hard not to come to certain conclusions
- Valve tried to launch their own card game, Artifact. Its hard to imagine why they would want to go into a well-established market like that other than trying to compete with Hearthstone
- CSGO turning into CSGO 2 is nearly identical to how Blizzard tried to go from Overwatch to Overwatch 2
- Currently developing Deadlock is a hero-shooter with MOBA elements. I feel like that one is pretty self explanatory

There seem to be too many cases like that to just chuck it up to a bunch of coincidences. Valve's obsession with Blizzard really had a lasting negative impact on their work as a gaming studio

These morons can't seem to understand that no one is actually anti-competitive. No one has a problem with compies hosting tournaments and taking the game seriously. The problem is when you force players to play in a way they don't like, such as "bridging le gap".

If Meet your Match hadn't replaced quickplay and didn't make any stupid balance changes it would have been a normal update. No one cares if compies have their own official gamemode and official support, no one cares if they implement their weapon bans and their matchmaking and all their other crap as long as it's in their separate containment gamemode, as it always has been.

No one cares as long as the core casual experience is left untouched, the problem is when you send uncle dane to Valve HQ and start bridging muh gap and twisting the core gameplay to be more competitive and "modern".
TF2 is not an e-sport and you need to butcher half the game to make it viable as one, essentially a different game at that point.

Mym was absolutely a knee-jerk reaction to overwatch’s popularity. Valve was essentially done with tf2 post-mvm and was content to just let it play out while occasionally fucking around with it with random spontaneous item updates and experimental game modes. Overwatch made them then go ‘oh shit’ and decide to retrofit an incompatible competitive playstyle onto a casual game and enforce it to all players with overwatch style rules. It’s so incredibly obvious they were just chasing its popularity- they even started copying the way overwatch did changelogs for balance patches.

I’m glad that public opinion is swaying so much that retards like solarlight now have to defend their shitty opinions with two hour long videos. I’m looking forward to his ‘nuke’ that will rape zesty with facts and logic tho.
