"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

Hey Josh, did the jeet jannies on X delete your "ALARM, STAY AT HOME, LETHAL BOOMERS DRIVING IN FLORIDA" post? I saw that it disappeared from my timeline and I'm just curious.

its just snow
whats the big deal
Florida doesn't get snow often let alone more than many northern regions. They're getting more than we got recently. New Orleans is quite interesting with all the junkies off the streets. Probably the worst place I've ever been to besides Baltimore. If you ever go there and asian monks approach you and your spouse be prepared to be aggressive immediately. Don't let them touch you. 1000040044.jpg

There are a bunch of scam artists dressed as monks who wander around tourist areas of New Orleans and it's the classic "Forcibly give or put something on you and then cry you owe them money" scam. I found being immediately super aggressive and rude got them to go away immediately. Honestly, it's just a giant shithole to be in. The battlefield boat tour is great. The world war 2 museum is amazing. Otherwise it's just piss, weed, junkies and drunks. It's a shame such an amazing museum with such amazing artifacts is in such a place. They have actual melted stuff from the a-bomb drops

Damn, I haven't been there in years; I know a local and used to get into good parties for MG, do a lot of music stuff -- pro-tip, never go to MG unless you know a local.

Honestly if you go to NAW LEANS at all, you should be prepared to commit incredible violence at any moment.
Very diverse city.

It was probably the least safe I've felt since I was a kid in Baltimore with my parents. We were there on business. If I ever have to go back I will find out how to fly with my carry gun or it won't be happening. Getting dragged out to the "night life" and watching people in our group get super drunk at a professional event, and having to escort them for their own safety for what felt like an eternity was my last straw. Never again. If you are forced to go and you even do or don't have a firearm, still get a quality flashlight and if you can pepper spray. a budget powertac m5 is great (amazing lumens and candela for the price. If you lose it no biggie) or streamlight. I'm not trying to exaggerate. It is incredibly dark at night in many areas from burnt out lights. There's junkies laying about everywhere or hiding in crevices. Someone was murdered days after we left in an area we were in. Unless they are undercover I really never saw any cops. Especially at night. Just in their little clown car during the day rarely driving around.

Also, there's no fucking jazz anywhere. Apparently over the river there is a safer and jazzier area. But bourbon street has absolutely no jazz music at all. Just a bunch of degenerate shit

A little reddit news, lovingly compiled in the new PG thread by @barrow greeter: the insanely astroturfed campaign in which dozens of subreddits all just so happen to have simultaneously decided to vote on whether to ban links to xitter: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/us-politics-general-2.210076/post-20387842

The discussion clearly became heated on r/whitepeopletwitter because a mod was forced to step in and clarify their position on the question of Elon Musk's latest spastic arm workout: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/us-politics-general-2.210076/post-20388035
Pull quote: "Quoting agenda driven hategroups like the ADL to try and weasel about this similarly falls foul of our very clear "No Nazis" rule."

I need to stop listening to mati while sleeping. I had a dream i was getting away/leaving/escaping from somewhere and me and my acomplis was driving/running down the road and in the road were these lit up displays, like lite bright, in the form of like the la fires i think? and josh was screaming WATCH OUT IF YOU GO TOO FAST STRIPE WILL SHUT YOU DOWN LIKE ME. BE CAREFUL, GO SLOW!

Updates from Pensacola: We've smashed the shit out of the previous state record for snow fall. Feels like I'm in Colorado again. Everyone's closed because no one down here knows how to drive in the snow. Here's my puppy experiencing her first snow. She really likes it and keeps whining to go out and run around in it again. Normally I can't let her off the leash because we don't have a fence, but with no one driving today its been alright to let her sprint around and play in it.
