I don't think they can really comprehend WHY he has shielding against their negative bullshit. Because once they do, they'd realize they're in the wrong, and his conviction is far stronger than theirs.

The concept of holiness also just doesn't register to them, because that's what their circle is supposed to be, the holy one. The right one. In fairness, after reading the article/some sources, it seems the bit of tax low Donald wants to use would double taxes on foreign nationals. Since my buddy is already getting 33% of his income stolen by the feds/Commiefornia, that means he'd be losing a cool two thirds of his bloated FAANG salary. He can't make Bay Area life work on a third of his income. Which is fair enough, I suppose. One maplenigger can't stand against the pure retardation of Bay Area cost of living.

He's not wrong to be a little worried, but also, as I've pointed out to him, this a piece of policy that may or may not happen, that has uncertain parameters. I can't give him any actionable advice here.
