You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

"God X is so annoying."
"What'd she do?"
"She's just so annoying!"
This is old and I'm gay and late but agreed. It's even weirder when it's done to you and the other person won't elaborate what it is you're doing which is so annoying.

I hate Jimmy Kimmel and every time I see a video of that fish-faced mongoloid he is tearing up about some bullshit. Today it's the L.A. fires. Oh, cry me a fucking river douchebag, just buy a new mansion somewhere else you talentless hack.
He did something similar with the LA shooting if memory serves. Gross

Anyway thread tax: Nintendo fan boys. Or corporate shills in general. I happen to know someone who's a Nintendo fag and he hassled me the other day about the switch 2. When I asked him why he thought it was important for me to sit through the Nintendo direct, he said and I quote "To support a publisher that publishes masterpieces made by a team of deities whom work within a deadline and care about the fans."

OK 😑👌 but I don't really give a fuck so leave me alone.

Company shills are annoying but there's something about the Nintendo breed that's a whole other level of delulu.

Loud is not a replacement for funny. Intentionally mispronouncing a word is not a replacement for funny. Bombarding a screen with a million unrelated clips and gifs is not a replacement for funny. Using certain less-common words is not a replacement for funny. Yelling is not a replacement for funny.
I would have thought this would be common knowledge by now, but it's still so prevalent.

Something extremely specific and highly autistic. There's a certain trend in graphic design that annoys the fuck out of me for some reason. Since it's difficult to explain in words, and all the (many, many) real life examples I could provide might dox me, I've created some examples. While these are not real, they are very much in the spirit of the design trend I hate.
One for a theater production, a social media activism post, one for a small business, another for a wholesome gossip forum, and the last one's real:

It's always the same shit: Minimalist approach with the dominant element being a monoweight block of text with random and completely retarded line breaks that render everything barely readable. This shit has spread like monkey pox over the past 2-3 years, from artsy posters to political campaigns to full-on corporate identities being just this. I hate it.

People in my country not giving a fuck about American politics. I care about Trump & Musk, I FUCKING CARE. We're not even American but why don't you care about Trump leaving the WHO or whatever the fuck is going on???
I swear I'm going to just start walking away when this shit isn't brought up for the next 4 years.

What's been grinding my gears lately is the "Trump made everyone female" thing floating around online. I'm gonna sperg a tiny bit about this.

An embryo is not female at conception, to say otherwise is the result of a common misconception. Up until ~6 weeks, the embryo has what are called germ cells, the precursor to reproductive cells. Until the aforementioned ~6 weeks, sex expression isn't a thing. This is why biological males have nipples but not milk ducts. Once the embryo reaches that point, the germ cells turn into reproductive cells: in males, the small reproductive cell, and in females, the large reproductive cell. At this point, it begins to develop gonads.

Again, embryos do not start out as female at conception. They simply develop with no physical sex until the sex expression kicks in and starts creating the gonads. Trump didn't legally make everyone female.

People with faces staring at you as their background. Last thing I want to see when opening something up is a face.
The only time I ever found myself wanting to do this is when I was in a relationship. Setting my girlfriend's face as my background on my phone was something I personally preferred. The first thing I wanted to see in the morning was the love of my life.

Pinterest recommending shit I have never once indicated interest in, like stale 2011 Reddit memes or female celebrities I don't find attractive.
To add on to the Pinterest hate, I hate when you accidentally click on a pic, go back, and it auto refreshes
More Pinterest Hate: The fact that it still doesn't have a dark mode, and sometimes won't let you remove pins from your boards.

People who still think that wood cutting boards are "unsanitary". Likewise, people who think you need to fucking soak anything that comes in contact with raw meat with bleach when you can just wash it... with soap... and water. Sorry, no, I'm not interested in filling my meals with microplastics and cleaners.
