Can someone better plugged into 2025 internet culture explain these to me? Like, why would anybody watch these videos if they weren't the found media of a school shooter? Is there a fan community that gets something out of content like this? Is there an in-joke at play here? I more or less get why someone who bothered to learn a couple easy moves would post a little dance on TikTok, but this? Can a zoomer make a friend by posting this somewhere, or why would anyone go to the trouble of filming and then uploading these videos?

Is making videos like this a normal thing for some people today that I'm out of the loop of, or is it exclusively the output of a schizo killer?

He was part of groups grooming children into making self harm and sexual videos. You can't start by telling them to cut themselves immediately or they will walk away. You create a weird ironic weeb culture that has school shooter wannabes making anime dance videos and other slightly weird but mostly harmless content. Either someone asked him to do it as a way to help normalize filming himself or he did it to make others laugh as it was part of the group's culture. It's an old 4chan thing and many of the child abuse groups cling to old 4chan's coat tails as part of their street cred. Underage cam whores were a big part of /b/ culture at it's peak and the older guys involved here would have been around for it and taken it underground as the normal web became less wild. Making cringe worthy dance videos or putting a shoe on your head is a good way to test how suggestive someone is before asking them to do worse things. It's uncomfortable and silly but it gets you lots of praise and opens you up to do more uncomfortable things because you're already over the first hill.

Because a single O9A nexion in a foreign country to the base country was being managed by an informant, it doesn't mean that the O9A is a fed-op. Also, the modus operandi in SIEGE and Terrorgram pretty much makes it impossible for those actually following these books to be caught by the feds. I'm not affiliated with either of these groups, but having extensively researched them, it's very obvious that the public image of these groups and what they actually preach are completely different.
