There are tons of subsidies, loan assistance, and cost share for agriculture. The other side of that is that costs rise to meet demand with too much of that
Should just focus on deregulation
Deregulation and removing subsidies is a good thing. But if you think people can afford the mortgages and the start up costs with farming you're out of touch. Farmers either have moderate plots and bust their asses. Or they own massive amounts of land, have illegals tend to it.

This is 20 Acres in Dysart Iowa. I don't even think there's hook ups for a mobile home.
This doesn't include all the machinery. You might not even be able to hook up to the electrical grid.

The Lumbee are a mixed-race community in NC that claim to be descended from a myriad of American Indian tribes. There is debate over the validity of their origin though most people don't really care about it.
I have heard that they are the descendants of the Roanoke "lost colony" who, after abandoning the settlement, migrated inland and (literally) went native and joined a tribe. Not sure if that is proven though.

JFK will be released in 15

MLK/RFK in 45 so sixty for all of it like you said
Exactly. It says at least to me, that the JFK documents are stored digitally, or at the very least, there are less of them to transfer from physical to digital. Now MLK/RFK? Those have been in the vaults for a while if they are giving them 45 days to get their shit in order.

Ive been trying to keep up with the thread, but every time I fuck off to go do something there's 20 more pages of ACTUAL happenings. Mr. President please I can't take all of this winning...

PLEASE, I WANT TO STAY UP TO DATE ON THE THREAD. ITS TOO MUCH WINNING.

I've wasted at least half a day of work WINNING. So tomorrow I'll probably avoid the thread entirely.

IT NEVER STOPS. TRUMP WON'T STOP. TRUMP CAN'T STOP WINNING.

Then the cost of labor needs to go down. This will be harder, but a lot of the artificial increase of minimum wage has jacked up labor costs across the board. That 16 year old cashier now making $20 an hour needs to be paid, that price gets added by the store. Mechanic at the processing plant who used to make $20 an hour when min wage was $8? well he's demanding more.
To add to this, the cost of living needs to go down across the board, people won't be okay with the artificial minimum wage going down if it doesn't. Apartments in my area are $1200 a month at least.

I don't mean to be a sperg but when is Trump actually going to do something about inflation and food prices? I appreciate the total tranny death, removing faggotry, having free speech again. Eggs still cost 6 dollars though.
Dipshit, it hasn't even been a week. Markets don't work like that. You could nuke Saudi Arabia and you wouldn't see the downstream on gas prices until Monday.

Some DOGE related activities.

Senate DOGE caucus takes aim at $1.8B government fund for candy, comic books: ‘Purely propaganda’

What is the Department of Homeland Security going to do without its coloring books?

Senate DOGE Caucus chair Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) has re-upped legislation to cut roughly $2 billion in taxpayer money spent on swag to promote federal agencies.

Expenditures in Ernst’s crosshairs went toward agency mascots, fidget spinners, coloring books, koozies, comic books, and other items the Iowan’s team has called “purely propaganda.”

Ernst’s Stop Wasteful Advertising by the Government (SWAG) Act is inspired by a RebuildLocalNews study that estimated discretionary advertising spending within federal agencies jumped to $1.8 billion in fiscal year 2023, more than double the $778.5 million that had been spent in fiscal year 2018.

“You might mistake Washington for a very expensive kid’s birthday party, with federal employees playing dress up, appearing as mascots, and making coloring books,” Ernst, 54, said in a statement first reported by the Daily Mail.

"I am going to crash the party and bag this costly swag. Misbehaving bureaucrats need to stop wasting tax dollars trying to refurbish their bad reputation, and focus on serving the American people.”

Ernst’s legislation, similar to a bill she introduced six years ago, restricts funding for “government propaganda” such as gift items and certain ad campaigns unless authorized by law. The bill features carveouts for the military, which spent about $640 million of the $1.8 billion on efforts to bolster recruitment.

In renewing her push for the SWAG Act, Ernst has flagged some of the zany spending that various agencies have engaged in over recent years.

Among them: “Vin Vasive,” a mutant bug that a Department of Agriculture subagency has used to alert the public to the scourge of pests, vines, and other invasive critters.

In a video from 2023, Vin Vasive sarcastically told the public about ways they can sneak invasive species into national parks and maneuver around inspectors.

It’s not clear how much “Vin Vasive” costs the taxpayers.

Another government mascot — “Champa Boom” — for the Defense Department’s MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., reportedly cost $9,000. Champa Boom is intended to boost recruitment.

Other agency mascots include the Yuma sector of US Customs and Border Protection’s German shepherd “Tracker”; the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Owlie Skywarn and Sanctuary Sam, a cartoon owl and sea lion that promote environmental protection and readiness for severe weather; and the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Rex the Ready Lion.

Mascots that are approved by Congress — such as the US Forest Service’s Woodsy Owl and Smokey the Bear — would not be affected by Ernst’s legislation.

The Republican’s team also highlighted comic book series rolled out by various government entities.

This includes the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s “Operation Outbreak,” which is intended to give students exercises to “identify the pathogen’s index case” and the “potential animal host.”

“No word on when Operation Lab Leak will be released,” Ernst’s team jabbed in a brief report on government swag expenses.

Another graphic novel under the gun is the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s “Real Fake” and “Resilience Series,” which are intended to inform the public about misinformation.

Then there are government coloring books like DHS’ “Jobs We Do,” in which children can color in workers performing various gigs at the department.

“This resource was created for the children of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) personnel to highlight the work their parents and loved ones perform each day to protect the United States,” a DHS spokesperson previously explained to the Washington Free Beacon.

The Interior Department’s Bureau of Land Management also has a coloring book for its mascot, which features bats and caves.

Other swag that could go bye-bye includes items like blankets, buttons, cups, hats, tote bags, trading cards, stress balls, stuffed animals, jar openers and more.

Ernst’s DOGE Caucus plans to work with billionaire Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency in rooting out waste and bloat across the government.

The newly-minted reform department headed by the world’s richest man has promised to cut as much as $500 billion annually in wasteful spending across the executive branch departments.

This week, it hinted at its newest target: the United States penny.

“The penny costs over 3 cents to make and cost U.S. taxpayers over $179 million in FY2023. The Mint produced over 4.5 billion pennies in FY2023, around 40% of the 11.4 billion coins for circulation produced,” the official account of Musk’s DOGE tweeted, referencing an article from Fortune citing the US Mint.

Last year was the 19th consecutive year a penny has cost more to produce than its face value, according to the March article.

Meanwhile, Earnst has already introduced a number of bills and reports to highlight some potential areas for trimming.

One report from her office that was released last year concluded that a meager 6% of the federal workforce “report in-person on a full-time basis.”

President Trump has since signed an executive order directing agencies to return to in-person work five days per week.

It's how the US government is supposed to work. The power is supposed to transfer in a instant. Trump with his many orders and mass firings is making sure the power stays in control, and not the other way around. The President is not a mere figurehead. He is The Commander in Chief with many associated powers.
it turns out that the president has a shitload of powers that congress has ceded to him, and if you don't have west-wing-brained retards running your administration you can just get things done

To add to this, the cost of living needs to go down across the board, people won't be okay with the artificial minimum wage going down if it doesn't. Apartments in my area are $1200 a month at least.
Currently ICE is in the process of removing millions of illegal squatters. Costs are gonna drop man.

Here is the text for the recent Trump AI Executive Order.

REMOVING BARRIERS TO AMERICAN LEADERSHIP IN ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. Purpose. The United States has long been at the forefront of artificial intelligence (AI) innovation, driven by the strength of our free markets, world-class research institutions, and entrepreneurial spirit. To maintain this leadership, we must develop AI systems that are free from ideological bias or engineered social agendas. With the right Government policies, we can solidify our position as the global leader in AI and secure a brighter future for all Americans.
This order revokes certain existing AI policies and directives that act as barriers to American AI innovation, clearing a path for the United States to act decisively to retain global leadership in artificial intelligence.

Sec. 2. Policy. It is the policy of the United States to sustain and enhance America’s global AI dominance in order to promote human flourishing, economic competitiveness, and national security.

Sec. 3. Definition. For the purposes of this order, “artificial intelligence” or “AI” has the meaning set forth in 15 U.S.C. 9401(3).

Sec. 4. Developing an Artificial Intelligence Action Plan. (a) Within 180 days of this order, the Assistant to the President for Science and Technology (APST), the Special Advisor for AI and Crypto, and the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs (APNSA), in coordination with the Assistant to the President for Economic Policy, the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB Director), and the heads of such executive departments and agencies (agencies) as the APST and APNSA deem relevant, shall develop and submit to the President an action plan to achieve the policy set forth in section 2 of this order.

Sec. 5. Implementation of Order Revocation. (a) The APST, the Special Advisor for AI and Crypto, and the APNSA shall immediately review, in coordination with the heads of all agencies as they deem relevant, all policies, directives, regulations, orders, and other actions taken pursuant to the revoked Executive Order 14110 of October 30, 2023 (Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence). The APST, the Special Advisor for AI and Crypto, and the APNSA shall, in coordination with the heads of relevant agencies, identify any actions taken pursuant to Executive Order 14110 that are or may be inconsistent with, or present obstacles to, the policy set forth in section 2 of this order. For any such agency actions identified, the heads of agencies shall, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, suspend, revise, or rescind such actions, or propose suspending, revising, or rescinding such actions. If in any case such suspension, revision, or rescission cannot be finalized immediately, the APST and the heads of agencies shall promptly take steps to provide all available exemptions authorized by any such orders, rules, regulations, guidelines, or policies, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, until such action can be finalized.

(b) Within 60 days of this order, the OMB Director, in coordination with the APST, shall revise OMB Memoranda M-24-10 and M-24-18 as necessary to make them consistent with the policy set forth in section 2 of this order.

Sec. 6. General Provisions. (a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:
(i) the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or
(ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.
(b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.
(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

Dipshit, it hasn't even been a week. Markets don't work like that. You could nuke Saudi Arabia and you wouldn't see the downstream on gas prices until Monday.
Bad example. Gas prices go up the nanosecond something that will make a barrel of oil go up is thought of, and take months to go back down even though the gas in the tank at the service station was bought months ago and was already paid for.

I don't mean to be a sperg but when is Trump actually going to do something about inflation and food prices? I appreciate the total tranny death, removing faggotry, having free speech again. Eggs still cost 6 dollars though.

All the deregulation and DEI cutting shit has to have time to start impacting costs before prices come down.

Congress over the past 250 years got fucking lazy. And now here we are. Trump actually can make America great again because he does have the power to do so, and he's not holding back.
