It's a solid first attempt at a longform standalone story (they have a bunch of shorts on their website, and exit665 has nothing released yet), they can't fall back to 4chan humor anymore, and they're aiming for a more serious tone, which means that the game overall feels less like an elaborate shitpost and more like an actual game from a competent studio.

As far as the entire game goes, using the Cavemanon© Rating Scale™ (-10 for horrendous but rememberable, 0 for completely and utterly forgettable, 10 for amazing), it's probably a solid 7 (snoot would be an 8, maybe 8.5), It still has the decisions well incorporated and will definitely filter out NiceGuy Incels to ending 1, but it could probably have used a few more exciting/intense moments.
The intense moments that are there, though, they're great. On par or better than snoot.

I'll confess to liking Wani slightly more than SG. The dance had me crying like a pussy I can't really fight that.
The game does feel narrow compared to Snoot Game but that's an acceptable design decision to me even before learning about the insane and retarded track of development for the game. It's a miracle the game came out mostly unscathed and frankly all the areas they trimmed the fat off were acceptable in my eyes for the game we got.
The only complaints I really have worth voicing are a couple big moments should have had special CGs that didn't, and as soon as they ship 665 they'd better put out some fucking bonus episodes

So is this also going to be the Kiwifarms' Exit 665 thread once that comes out? Wani is already only related to GVH superficially as it is. Legally it is wholly separate. Plus it would be funnier to bury GVH under not two but three different, better games that it solely existed to give legups to.

Any fellow snoot-fic enjoyer here? I just got back into the fandom and learned that Laosi(prolific fanfic writer) decided he was displeasing Allah and deleted all his fics to be a better muslim. Does anyone have an archive of his works?

I played through Who Drank The Purple Stuff? recently and had a good time, its not finished yet but there is still plenty of content.

Well, we got Snoot Game because of GVH, and thanks to Snoot Game we got like 4 other games, so there's that. What i find funny is that it seems not a single fan project was developed based on GVH, not a sequel, "spiritual successor" or even a game based on the original script, i guess that's what happens when your game is DOA.

Actually there kinda is. Its called When Worlds Collide and is like 80% done (there's an ending but no branching paths yet) which has the GVH cast show up in Snoot Game and its fairly well written, there was only a couple moments where it a bit fanfic-y where either of the casts would act out of character but its still very enjoyable and it made the GVH characters actually good. Its done by some of the people on the DevLog team too so it has some predigree to it.

Basically yeah, they're refugees and just show up. Its a dumb premise but does play it pretty straight and gets decent milage out of the conflict between the Fangs.
