He looked like he was doing his Nathan Drake cosplay.

California has an extreme "anti formal wear" attitude. Office workers dress like Newsom and only go full business suit if they are Lawyers or High Level Finance. Hippy dippy tech people ever since Apple have been trying to discourage business-wear in CA. It makes everyone look like a golfer or a bum. Sucks.
It makes it look like he doesn’t give a shit about what’s happening, yeah your house burned down and you lost everything but look at how cool and casual I look! Also I have more money than you ever will so this shirt cost more than half your belongings.

It’s amazing how Trump just tramples over these Los Angeles politicians. They appear quite literally afraid of him.
It's because there hasn't been a real man in the state of California since 1991.
Can somebody explain the logic in that? How did the Democrats coerce Putin to attack Ukraine?
Putin is just being a troll.
just check in every 20 pages or so. it keeps the winning to manageable levels, but you do miss some things
It's fucking wild how fast the thread is moving and it's all Trump doing meaty stuff.

Apparently that bishop dyke that insulted Trump has been removed by the episcopal archdiocese of washington. But I can't find any news that confirms this? Does anyone have proof?
That would be extremely surprising. The Episcopalian Church is patient zero of pozzed churches in the USA. If anything I'd expect that she earned herself a promotion.

According to an earlier post, the Biden Admin coerced Ukraine into joining NATO. NATO is pretty Anti-Russian, so pressuring Ukraine, who borders Russia, into joining the "Anti Russia Club" puts the pressure on Russia to lash out.
I mean that's Ukraine's choice. I don't know the history between Russian and Ukraine; I'd figured Ukraine is independent from Russia as its own nation.

if I had money I would pay for someone to do a weekly roundup of everything of note in this thread. or maybe i should just learn how to use the highlights

Very few nations are independent when they have a bigger cousin on their doorstep. Imagine Mexico trying to allow Russian forces to build biolabs in Tijuana and see how the US would respond.

They have a long, bloody history with Russia. America has it's own interests, but Ukraine should understand it borders Russia and needs to play both sides to their own benefit. Jumping in with Biden and joining NATO to "stick it to Putin" is short sighted, retarded, and to be expected from Zelensky. This guy has a massive hate boner for Russia. Justified or not, taking aggressive action to instigate a war is retarded. Now he's actively trying to sour peace talks. Bloodthirsty madman, imo.

Ironically that LA-casual look usually costs more than a decent suit.

Hegseth Confirmation Vote tonight, apparently in three-quarter's hour or so.
Current Calculus:

+53 YEA votesBased on Partisan Lines (53 R - 47 D)
-1 YEASusan Collins (R-Maine) - Committed Opposition
-1 YEALisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) - Committed Opposition
(Possible) -1 YEA*Vote to watch* Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky)
(Possible) -1 YEA*Vote to watch* Thom Tillis (R-North Carolina)
49-51 YEA votesHegseth needs 50 YEAs for confirmation
Hegseth can survive one NAY vote from McConnell or Tillis, but both voting NAY will sink him.

It was more or less in a limbo between Russian and NATO influence, where both could do business on the condition neither tried to steal the whole bag. A post-Cold War gentleman's agreement. Then a US backed pro-NATO president gets installed, and Crimea gets annexed, and so on and so forth.
