Listen, the army is one thing, but do you have any idea how many cooks it takes to staff a ford class carrier?

Women in the navy reduce homosexuality, there’s not a lot of marching room on a floating death box, etc etc

If I was in the navy, I’d want Latinas getting their brows threaded on every deck
I just want you to know that this is a really great point and the way you phrased it was very funny. I'm not using stickers to tell you that because that's fucking gay, I think everyone deserves to hear why they're awesome once in a while and today, good sir, that is you.

You are awesome. Go about your shit, Mr. Awesome.

If women are going to serve then they need to look proper. I don't want unkempt men (unless they're in the front line, they got more important shit to deal with and even then they should do the best they can) or women in uniform. Keep those eyebrows under control and that makeup applied by all means, military ladies :semperfidelis:

I got this ad today, it's very not based. Who do I complain to?

This is just a new spin on the kinds of ads the military's aimed at girls for decades. I remember seeing ads to this effect with a different slogan in Seventeen magazine back in the 00s. The message is: "Joining the military doesn't mean you have to look gross!" which is honestly a big concern for young women looking for acceptance and trying to find their confidence.
