The "good liberals" have really gone mask-off about what they think immigrants are for: they're here to work for a wage that is, according to them, below the level of human dignity.
And it's a harsh, realpolitik economic necessity BUT AT THE SAME TIME makes you a good, moral, Christ-like person to advocate for that permanent slave underclass.

I can't believe leftist brains don't implode under the sheer magnitude of logical contradiction their worldview demands.

Alberta is the best for for America, actively wants to join America, and them joining would completely buck break Canada and force it to decide and shit or get off the pot. Canada has been nothing but a parasite on America and has its entire existence be around leeching off its power.
Can people not discuss it as if it's in the pipe until American officials are genuinely discussing it at least? It's daydreaming about "omg wouldnt it be so awesome if..." and "here's how we could do it..." when real stuff is happening that's actually worth discussing. It's fanfic right now no one actually expects to happen.

This really needs to be the #1 rallying cry of the American Right. Also imagine if we revamped our school systems to actually teach kids things like MATH and Science and brought back all of our Honors programs again so we can start accelerating gifted youth into the fields of Science and Technology straight out of Grade and High-Schools, instead of making them languish with Niggers and Third Worlders endlessly in Public schools that don't even teach Math or Reading Comprehension anymore because its too racist for their little grape brains.
Imagine if College was once again a place of Higher-Learning instead of Diversity and Equity Daycare?
This is the kind of stuff I say to anybody who will listen, especially to the pessimists and doomer-adjacents. If you find yourself looking around the world and despairing at how shitty and backwards everything is (or is becoming), just imagine the opportunity that awaits whomever is first to successfully reverse course. The U.S. should be absolutely scrambling to be the first nation to unfuck itself, because of the power and prosperity that is there to be seized. I don't want someone else getting there first.

If the tariff happens, Alberta is definitely joining USA. And if Alberta leaves, it's basically free for all.

Ok whatever, I imagine I'm in the minority but it's pretty annoying reading all this fanfic about annexing Canada when catching up on the US politics thread when no one in US or Canadian politics that I know of is earnestly discussing this, let alone annexing a single province.
They really are sticking to egg prices even tho groceries as a whole are up like 200%
They always find very specific, stupid things to harp on about. The egg thing isn't even a proper gotcha since egg prices are objectively way up and it happened under Biden so why would Kamala fix it? They can't even say what Kamala would have done to do anything and we're seeing Trump immediately fortify the border on day 1 with illegal immigration plummeting by week 1 and they act like that's nothing.

Wishing is how we got this far. I say we should keep dreaming, and see how far it takes us.

Trump told Hannity that he’s getting rid of windmills and solar farms because they’re the most expensive form of energy, are unreliable, kill animals, waste land, and are made in China:

No lies detected. I predict a lot of seething from climate change activists who believe that wind and solar are the cheapest forms of energy. Trump is right though, renewables are the most expensive form of electricity because they’re so unreliable that they need either an enormous amount of overproduction and batteries or a backup generator.

If you need a backup plant that can deliver all of the energy of your renewable plant, why not always use the “backup” then? You can buy an enormous amount of fuel for the cost of a wind/solar farm, which by the way, is a recurring expense since panels degrade and windmills wear out over time. This is why places with high amounts of green energy like California and Germany have some of the most expensive electricity in the world; it’s impossible for a reliable renewable grid to cost less than a pure nonrenewable one no matter how cheap the panels and windmills are.
in my honest opinion, solar is not fit for every state, solar would work wonders in places like say nevada, arizona and new mexico, even texas.

why? because we got alot of sun, theres hardly a day where the sun isnt raining hate on us, storm proof them and its even better. Now adding solar to a place in the midwest, where winters are brutal and you dont get much sun, and solar stops making sense.

But I say I'll accept solar more when they storm proof it more, which Im told is already happening here in texas

I think you're giving way too much weight to the topics being discussed in a shitposting thread on an Internet gossip forum.

But a lot of the stuff we're celebrating now was a pipedream five days ago.
We can discuss what we hope and what's actually happening, I don't see the issue. Personally I don't think Canada is going to become part of the US and it's just art of the deal trolling to negotiate trade deals, but if people want to discuss how it might work and through what legal avenues I don't see how that is off topic given the president has mentioned it.
If I see posts I don't care about, I scroll past them. We're all Autists here sperging about the topics we're most interested in with everyone else just tolerating us unless we step out of line.

I'm tired of people arguing for slave labor and how we need it to survive as a nation.
If we need slavery to exist as a fucking nation we shouldn't be a nation in the first place.
One would think the Democrats learned their lesson on this argument in 1865. But apparently they need to be taught again. Down with the traitors. Up with the Stars. And we'll fill our vacant ranks, with a million freemen more, shouting the battle cry of freedom! The Union forever, hurrah boys, hurrah!

By not making his successful clear and direct. Lenin fucked up. He thought Stalin was a dog from Georgia and that's why the party made him the general Secretariat. Little did they know, it was a single most powerful position in the party...

To add on to this, the Secretariat is the guy who made all the official party hires and brought in people to run the party. Stalin of course hired people that were loyal to him first and foremost. When Lenin died, Trotsky quickly discovered that almost no one in the party was loyal to him, he completely outplayed Trotsky and Lenin while they thought he was some drooling bumpkin from Georgia.

Re-watching the rendition of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" being done in the rotunda for the inauguration.

It actually seems very poignant. The Battle Hymn is a very religious song, and its been ignored quite a bit in modern times in favor of more secular songs like America the Beautiful and so on. The fact that it was chosen for such a premier event is definitely a moment in time. Also I love how the singers literally pushed the congressmen blocking their path to the side as they marched in.

Its also important to note that the Hymn is also a prayer in song form. In many respect the US Capital Building was sanctified that day. And not in the way Liberals like to bang on about the sanctity of our institutions and government.

I'm glad they used the original lyrics of the song too, at some point they changed the lyrics to "As Christ died to make men holy, let us live to make men free" which makes no sense. Why would we live to make men free when Christ died for us? If He paid the ultimate price for the salvation of mankind to free us from the sins of Adam and Eve, it would only be logical that we are also willing to pay that price since our savior did.

Leftists memed themselves into believing we elected a giga ultra fascist for cheap eggs, so now it's their central talking point when they cry about Trump. Anyone with sense knows Trump isn't putting in price controls, that's Commie fag shit. It will take time and Biden's handlers had 4 years to heavily fuck the economy.

This is easily the best rendition of the Battle Hymn I've ever heard. Love the symbolism of them blasting through the congressmen as the truth is marching on.

The Republic is back.

Would this increase the price of food? Maybe. But with energy costs down it's very likely we could compensate for it. And have a healthier and happier country for it along the way. Me personally? I'll pay a few more cents for a carrot if it means the workers are American and paid well.
This has been my concern for a while too. I would imagine the costs will stay the same or go up but I believe the average American will accept this as other costs will go down and, like you said it's more conscionable.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed this. It genuinely made me happy they used the based version instead of the cucked revised lyrics. Battle Hymn of the Republic should be our national anthem—it's a militant religious battlefield hymn about dying for the sake of freedom. It's humble, rustic, and doesn't require an orchestra. Our current anthem has always been subpar in comparison.

they would demand for more expansion and war until our borders look nice.
And that would be a bad thing?
