Little late to the drama; was a big fan, and early backer, of KCD, but I tend to skip previews and the whole pre-release hype cycle for my vidya, only noting down but not following upcoming releases too closely. I've been hearing some grumbling about KCD2 for at least a month, however, and now the Gaymer article and the Saudi ban finally got my attention.


Trying to catch up here: from what I understand, Warhorse got bought by some corpo, and Vavra has gone left (just in time for the ongoing spectacular implosion of woke gaming) - and that the lefty stuff they've put in KCD include a nigger Muslim male-feminist (?), Theresa cucking Henry, at least one sodomite NPC you can kill or possibly fuck, and an "optional" gay romance with your best bud Hans. Also, Vavra 's been lying and gaslighting and censoring critics? All leading to an apparently massive loss in pre-release sales, so much so that it pushed the game out of the Steam top ten?


Is that all about right?

It's not symmetric at all. A game gets labeled as "right-wing" when it depicts some aspect of reality that the left forbids, like a faggot being a creepy weirdo, or doesn't depict some particular leftist fantasy, like black lesbian medieval nobility. The whole reason the first KCD is considered "right-wing" is the game didn't have niggers in a time and place where reality didn't have any niggers, either.
