So what's the explanation for Musks Nazi/Roman/Autist salute? Did he or anyone close to him acknowledge it? Or are they ignoring it?

I’m maybe 70/30 on genuinely awkward gesture or deliberate move to distract from the 100 or so based EOs signed in less than a week. It’s all I see liberals talking about. Like jangling keys in front of a baby.
The EO's are pretty based, ngl, but the gesture was very funny since it is my personal belief the man is partially retarded.
I haven't seen it adressed or even acknowledged by their own side (Republicans), even though he's a sperg about other completely inane things, plus the responses i've seen are dismissive rather than critical.

Does it need to be acknowledged? Because that would elevate it to something more serious than it really is. Raking someone over the coals because they did something that might look like something a NAZZIIIII would do and then demanding an explanation is a tired tactic, and we all know the answer will never be good enough. So it’s prudent to just not say anything. This kind of optics stuff is irrelevant to the meat and potatoes of policy and they’re wise to not play that game.

I agree with you in one sense though, I think Musk can benefit the administration but they would be wise to keep him on a very short leash. You definitely want the richest man in the world as your ally and not your enemy, but dude is…special.

Musk has Tourette syndrome and was making involuntary body movements.
One such example of a Nazi salute being attributed to Tourette syndrome.
We do have several Joe Rogan podcasts where the dude talks for several hours, so tourettes does not make sense.

I guess best tactic is to not acknowledge it, there's no need to harm or slap the guy around for it either.

Musk is just a massive autist and when an autist gets too excited it can manifest in gestures that can make no sense or, given the wrong context, look real bad. What's your basis for this being tourettes?
To add, see: stimming. You can make the connection it's just a further manifesation of such behavior, and I think someone with autism, even if they've managed to generally stop stimming under normal circumstances, can't really prevent it under a lot of emotion.

Musk is an ultranazi, I remember him messaging me privately on X.com with the words "Sieg Heil" and a picture of him next to a gas chamber branded "Tesla".
Perhaps he finally decided to stop wasting time on electric and is just expanding into a more lucrative sector, the gas sector? You know? Since Trump is a Russian gas plant and probably makes massive braps and everything.
